yeah same here. It was wierd watching this back then because you actually couldn't hear the words, I was only able to hear what was assumed to be entropy but was something totally different. it was weird to hear the song after the lyrics.

Its from the demo tape presumably of the sound designers had on-hand! There was a sonic archivist who asked around and finally got it digitized and uploaded quite recently.

Well, yesmen was not the only KZfaqr who made the lyrics for Look a Like, there were also many KZfaqrs that also made it. But, yesmen did do it animated which makes him my favorite KZfaqr that makes sonic songs understandable so far.

I’m not sure if people are confused by the lyrics for this reason, but in case they are.. They’re basically naming stuff that are alike, hence the name. “Steak and cow”, cow being steak. “Air and oxygen”, air and oxygen being extremely similar.

this is really good! I'd love for you to make lyrical versions of Sonic and The Secret Rings songs! It's one of my favorite games and has probably my favorite soundtrack in the entire series. Like how two houses can look the same, or two sidewalks, roads, sinks, toilets, any generic thing that people use everyday has a look-a-like or, if you would, doppelganger. I don't hate the song, it's just that there were many things that have look-a-likes that existed before Metal Sonic. So, does the song exclude things like that? Because I don't remember trying to hate on the song, I'm taking this from a literal perspective.

Hey, about Sonic CD and Look-A-Like, how did you or someone else get the full versions? TheRerunLounge only managed to cover the history behind Look-A-Like. What about the Sonic CD credits. The games cuts out a bit of the full song. I was aware of it but I nor anybody I know of has ever heard history of it. I can't look up any info on why "Believe In Yourself" was shortened down for the game.
