I think the thing I liked the most about this game was the fact that Eggman did learn from his mistakes and each new Egg boss actually removed a weakness from the previous boss.

This game is so much fun. I love it so much, it has awesome music, fun and challenging bosses, great level design, beautiful visuals, ABSOLUTELY BADASS COMBAT, fun Tornado sections, great story, great cutscenes, it is the reason why I love Sonic, it is why I started loving this series, this is the best game I've ever played. I still love it and I will forever. (Aside from the PS2/Wii version which thank god I did not play. I played it on the PS3.)

the final theme of Dark Gaia is such a masterpiece. Even if its a sorta remake of the solaris theme, this one add a little sinister but yet epic vibe. Wii or Xbox version, both are great. I like the gameplay of wii and the speed tracking on the shield on Xbox. I got to play on wii cuz..well i had a wii but sonic unleashed is by far one of my beloved sonic childhood game. Personnaly, on my top childhood sonic i have Sonic Unleashed. Very like the gameplay and speed sensation Sonic Chronicles: Despite his flaws and story very copied on the dark brotherhood on archie comics, as a child i enjoyed playin multiple character and having different choice interactions with the crew. Sonic Riders zero gravity: Loved the overboard thing, love to play multiple characters, enjoyed the gravity sensation and oh boi! The final boss scared the shit out of my 9 poor Years old. I could also play silver on that game so..yeah pretty happy. I become a sonic fan pretty late cuz i wasnt born with the first game. Sonic Adventure was too old for me and i enjoyed more spin off than main series game. Didnt catch black knight and seven rings cuz i didnt have a wii at this time. I tried sonic heroes but at an age too Young so i never looked up to it, and i discover the 2d game very late. Sonic Generation was cool but i stopped after it. Colors seemed weird to me and with forces...i was angry. Big expectation, medium game instead. Not a big fan of sonic mania cuz, i didnt discovered sonic with the 2d games. Even if theyre cool. Anyway, instead of mario, sonic have personnality and all his crew so. And i love it. Screw the bland plumber, lets kick ass with the blue blur!

Where both versions shine(gameplay-wise): HD/Original = Daytime Sonic Wii/PS2 = Werehog Sonic Imagine a remake that uses this version as the base and use the Werehog from the Wii/PS2 version! That would make the mechanic a bit more tolerable.

For the Dark Moray it's possible to take out 2 of the green things by freezing it, jumping and press Y twice to attack the spot on its back, and on the ground spam Y

A game I never finished and will have a chance to beat the whole game because my Xbox died on me June 27 2017....im like half done but I never beat the game....

Sonic Unleashed deserves a remastered version of it with some changes like no loading screens with the sun and moon open world free exploring Holoska getting more to it like a bigger version of it more humans and animals in it and sounds like wind blowing snow blowing a blizzard happening the night music being the same Holoska is my favorite location in Sonic Unleashed. Sonic the Werehog able to transform into his Werehog form at will and be a Werehog in the day too have Shadow Sonic and Silver as the player characters and them becoming Werehogs too and playable characters too I would choose Shadow the Werehog as my favorite. We also need Dark Sonic the Werehog Dark Shadow the Werehog and Dark Silver the Werehog too. King Boo Boom as a boss fight since his weakness is the sun and he gets bigger and stronger by the moonlight more locations too like Soleanna and Elise comes back too including GUN Commander GUN Organization and GUN Soldiers and their truck too and Chip meets not just Sonic again but also meets Shadow and Silver and he meets all three of them in their Werehog forms too and some new different bosses too like a Hellhound in Holoska at Black Ice Curse in Holoska at night too and some Bosses that aren't the usual.

The only S rank I got is on the egg devil ray, I also finally got it on the final boss unreal after a first attempt with the E rank

I think Anon7906 had a little too much fun when dashing side to side during the Egg Beetle Boss Fight. But what do I know? I have the PS3 version of Sonic Unleashed, which along with the Xbox 360 version, are the better versions compared to the PS2 and Wii versions, and I haven’t even got to the first Boss in the game because I’m struggling with the first Tornado Stage, the one to Spagonia.

The ps3 is the only console I played sonic unleashed but I think it’s the hardest version because this one time I had to get my older brother to beat the second dark gaia because mashing a button 50 time I could not of done at the time but I believe I can do that now but the olny problem is that I can’t play sonic unleashed because my ps3 is broken

iv tried it on ps2 it was terrible iv tried it on the wii when i was little it was okay tried it on the xbox 360 i loved it then scratched the disc so i was stuck on the loading screen ;-;
