This is so good, i love how Majin is just having fun and even accepts defeat after Sonic's put up a good match. I personally think this is what SEGA would portray him as the "fun is infinite" easter egg was never supposed to be scary in the first place

I love the fact that sonic just starts LITTERALLY laying the hands on Majin when he goes super. God this makes me want a playable Majin mod for mania, The portals just seem like such a cool gimmick.

This honestly looks like a really fun boss battle. If SEGA ever decided to lean into some creepypasta stuff I can 100% see this being used as a secret boss.

Also, love the mix of Mania and Frontiers elements, this feels very reminiscent of old sprite animations from the late 2000’s of KZfaq. Granted, it’s much higher quality, but still. I love how smooth and faithful it is, well done MORO.

Pretty sure Majin is perfectly fine, just wanted a friendly match lmao. Dude looked like he was having quite a bit of fun despite losing the game this time around.

I don't think Majin would've been a proper villain, but more like an optional boss made to give the players an extra challenge - a sorta Jevil in his own infinitely fun way.

I'm surprised no one talked about the ending and how cool it is, it's like Sonic is using the concept of infinity AGAINST Majin It's like he realized "Oh? This is going to go on infinitely? Well then let's see if infinity can contain me!" and so he accelerate enough to start looping across the screen and Majin just can't keep up with Super Sonic at that point

I like how Majin’s gameplay works. It’s like if you kill him game wise, he has infinite lives so theres no way, and the only way to defeat him is to legitimately kill him

I'm genuinely really excited to see how you handle Majin! I never even thought you could consider him as a "Fighter" or anything y'know? xD I imagine he's mainly going to have like hundreds if not thousands of "Clones" of himself in the fight though right? Edit: While I was right to an extent, I did not expect him to have those Teleportation Portal moves, As well that the Star Shimmer-like Projectiles as well, That was awesome stuff! And I'm guessing the reason Super Sonic was able to kill Majin was because he used near-infinite speed, Thus canceling out Majins "Infinite" power? I don't personally feel like that would kill Majin for good, But it was a really great finisher to the fight! o/

How was I NOT recommended this until 3 days later-? This was amazing! I've never seen a Majin "Boss Fight" before.

i love the fact when majin jumps off the ledge at 1:03 he says "im outta here" referencing the same animation sonic does when you wait 3 minutes in sonic CD.

This is freaking phenomenal! I'm really glad MORO had chosen Majin Sonic as the antagonist in this fa animation than Sonic.exe. The sheer madness and chaos that's happening in this animation makes it truly a fun experience.

I like this ALOT, and for a bunch of reasons to. 1. I like how sonic isn’t just like “OH NO MAJIN SONIC IM GONNA DIE!1!1!1” and actually knows what the heck is going on and takes it seriously 2. This would probably be a secret boss fight after completing CD or mania (cause it’s using mania design) 3. I also like how they didn’t use sonic 3 sonic or modern sonic because I feel like classic sonic definitely fits the battle And that’s why I enjoyed this! Nice job MORO, you impressed me again

The idea of majin using both the death animation and afk death animation in his normal moveset is a neat idea.

I really like how majin is using patterns to make it like a real boss fight and not a lot of attacks as usual in this type of animation (example: soni.exe vs lord X, Sonic.exe vs Fletway, sonic.exe vs blah blah blah blah, etc)

I wonder what a movie with Majin Sonic as the final antagonist would be like, anyone is free to imagine and elaborate with me. First for the title, I think it would be cool if it was the eighth movie, with the number 8 laying down and making the infinity symbol and the word "Fun" appearing from the darkness. Let's see, could the theme of the movie be Sonic's falling away from responsibility, falling prey to Majin Sonic's promise of endless fun and at the end of the movie Sonic relearns responsibility? (Because being the eighth movie, Sonic has already been through a lot and matured a lot, to the point of returning to his home planet Mobius to live alone). In the first act of the film, I believe that we should have Majin Sonic's presentation and a great responsibility falling on Sonic's lap, making him think that his fun is ending and he will no longer have as much freedom as he used to. For the presentation of Majin S. I believe it would be cool to show him defeating and assimilating to his army what seems to be our Sonic from the movie franchise (But in reality it is just a Sonic from an alternate reality), yes Majin S. will be a threat from the Multiverse. Now for Sonic's big responsibility, it must be a big decision that is making him anxious. I have two alternatives, one is regarding Amy Rose, where she is really serious in front of Sonic and waits to hear the answer to her question (Depending on how old they are, the question may change); if they are teenagers, then it will be "Do you want to date me?", if they are teenagers/almost adults; "Do you want to live with me (same house)?", and if they are young adults "Do you want to have a child with me?". (I like this alternative because we can use Amy Rose later in a Plot Twist to defeat Majin S.) The other alternative is that Sonic left a hospital with bad news from the Doctor, after countless battles, his legs are at their limit, his knees and feet are no longer holding up to as much pressure, (I think we can add that his body is more weak after too much use of Chaos Emeralds), if he reaches his maximum speed once more, it is likely that he will never run again. Then the decision to stop being a hero to preserve his fun. Oh, nothing prevents we can't use both!

Just by looking at the sprites this is gonna be one hell of a time!

Just saying, someone really needs to make a fan game using all the horror characters (EXE, Majin, Starved etc) but it plays like a classic sonic platformer. No dialogue, no jump scares, just the retro vibe. it would be pretty cool to see one day, or better yet if Sega finally embraced some of these characters and did it themselves (which I know they won't)

Okay, but can we just appreciate how this combines aspects from a lotta different things in a lotta different sonic games? We have that waterfall section that reminds me heavily of Lava Reef act 2's boss from Sonic & Knuckles, but also reminds me of that one ant-lion boss from Sonic 2 Game Gear, the hands from the Phantom Egg fight in Mania, the "I'm outta here!" from CD, which also reminds me of the beginning section of Hydrocity act 2 and that one treadmill boss in Quartz Quadrant... Hell, there's probably a lot I'm missing, but the amount of effort put into this to combine a bunch of elements from several Sonic games is just _really_ good, y'know? Especially with how cool this fight looks. I'd honestly kill to have something like this in an official Sonic game.

I would love to see more animations from you, this was phenomenal! incredible work for making this feel like an update Sega would ask the mania team to do for a small update for Halloween. And please, if the musician for the background track is in the comments, just absolutely amazing work. A head banger that I believe even Teelopes would dig!

Its a really good animation, though I wouldn't call it a "boss battle" one. Not because of quality, but simply because after the "blue hands" part it basically stops feeling like a video game. GREAT animation all the same, it's a lot of fun to watch

And I think that Majin Sonic is very powerful, although it may not seem like it, he can basically control the reality of Sonic CD to his liking, create infinite clobes, create as many zones as he wants, and also if his goal is infinite diversity then his bossfight would be fun. infinite, meaning it cannot die, it can only disappear.

The fact that you fight Majin Clones towards the end till you hit the "final guy" is pretty cool detail
