This has occurred to me as well. The lyrics do align quite well, don't they (even the "don't blow it...blew it" part fits, for obvious reasons). Also, if you consider its placement on Washing Machine, Becuz is followed by Junkie's Promise - which is clearly about the downward spiral of addiction, and was often cited in reviews for the album as possibly being about Kurt. This sequencing suggests that the band may have felt that there was a common thread between between the two tracks. Lastly, the narrative in Becuz does seem to be in sync with things that Kim has said in interviews and written about in her book in regards to Kurt and Courtney's relationship. We may never know for sure at this point, since Washing Machine is one of the more underrated SY's albums - sadly it is almost never mentioned in interviews with any of the former members of SY. While I enjoyed Kim's book, I'd love for her to put out another one where she really takes a deep dive in to her songs, both with SY and outside the band. Some of her lyrics are quite obscure and I'd love to know more about the inspiration behind them.

Well, for me, I don't get how this song could be about Courtney Love. Courtney was already slamming heroin in her veins way before she got together with Kurt Cobain and when Kim produced Courtney's first album, she knew that the girl had mental problems. NPD. So, anyway, Courtney wrote in her own book a very long time ago, that she was doing heroin way before she became famous.

Yes, they actually have quite a few songs with three guitars and no bass. Not sure if it's due to their alternate tunings or the way the songs are mixed but they somehow manage to get a full range of highs and lows out of three guitars and drums.
