2020 now....on a whim I search for Sonic Youth Bonnaroo, to see if anyone had recorded anything (and see if I can find myself in the crowd). And this is the video that comes up, which happens to be my favorite SY song by far. Totally forgot they had played it. So happy to watch it again!

In either case, Thurston and Kim are the coolest couple in rock and they both age great. They're both really hot!

Sonic Youth are mindblowing! This is the song that got me into them. I own 9 of their cds, Rather Ripped was my first one. LOVE Sonic youth.

The only problem with Google Video is I guess comments aren't as obvious or easy. But what I liked about it over KZfaq was that you can upload any length or format videos and you can batch upload...

Yeah...but you can always go to festivals. I'm fortunate to live in Chapel Hill/Carrboro, where we get many good bands (though mostly not the biggest artists that only go to NYC and LA and Chicago and a few other places). I've been to Coachella, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, and now I'm going to Sasquatch! Festivals are where it's at!

Starting from A Thousand Leaves, Sonic Youth have been almost perfect from album to album... The best one out of all those albums was Thousand Leaves and Sonic Nurse... Murray Street, NYC Ghosts and Flowers and Rather Ripped are awesome though. However, Pink Steam is perhaps the greatest single song on any of those albums. Fantastic. The Eternal: June 9/09...search No Way and Mars on KZfaq for a little hint of what's to come. Peace.
