Amy's not really a love interest to Sonic, she's just a massive fan girl of Sonic who thinks he'll be her Knight in shining armor. I feel that they should stay separate due to the messages it would give to young girls who play the series.

Well since Sonic Lost World Amy's more capable of controling her feelings for Sonic in the latest games (one of the few, if not the only good thing coming out from that game), and Sonic Boom's portrayal of Amy has been influencing her character in other media: The IDW comics showed us an Amy that has matured after the events of Sonic Forces becoming a leader after Knuckles had to resume his role as guardian of the Master Emerald after recovering it from Neo Metal Sonic, who temporally took control of Angel Island. And then we have Team Sonic Racing from last year where Amy shows a more competitive side towards Sonic and his team while focusing on helping hers to win the races.

@@Idazmi7 Remember Madonna was removed from canon (so I don't think she counts) alongside the rest of Sonic's band (though they do bring back the crocodile later on as Vector, member and, since Sonic Heroes, leader of the Chaotix) Also I think that maybe it's best for Sonic to remain single, like Shadow and Knuckles, since Yuji Naka, who sees himself as the father of Sonic, envisioned him as a free spirit.

No really. He forgot to mention before the concept of the Hedghog than we love, they're wanted to made a fat dude with a mustache and he's wearing a pyjama as the main character. But the compagny reject it. Why? Because it was so close to Mario and Sega wanted something original without be relative with their opponent Nintendo. So they find a good animal like a Hedgehog to turn into Sonic. However, that fat dude with his pyjama, they didn't scrapped forever and instead, they've turned as the antagonist that we know along with Sonic : Doctor Ivo Robotnik. / Dr Eggman. Re: Needlemouse. The Japanese word for 'hedgehog' can be mistranslated into 'needle mouse' because of the two parts the word is made out of. Are we going to wonder about pigs with hedges walking around now? Because that's the level of proclaiming the 'they totally called him a needle mouse' is.

To this day still the best Sonic documentary of all time. Real happy to say that things seem to be looking up for him far more than they have in a while with his big 30th anniversary: the movies, IDW comics, the latest games, perhaps the best show since Sonic X on the way, and more. If things keep going well, this could potentially be the highest Sonic has flown since his first years way back in the 90s. I have hope for him. :D 🦔

I can't describe how much I enjoyed this video 👍 It was like time traveling . I wasn't born during that time but while watching this video , I felt like being there and seeing and experiencing all the hype about sonic . Sonic will always be remembered and I'll always be a sonic fan because it's great to be fan of Sonic
