You just have to lab him he was the only character I played in the beta cuz I was set on maining him and day one was learning what to do by day 3 I already felt comfortable with him. And it’ll be faster and easier since you can lab and don’t have to keep restarting the match against the towers. And it’s the stance that you really gotta lab regular kenshi is straight to the point

Gameplay is perfect as always but I feel like the content would be better if y'all would get better mics, do hand cams, or show your faces. It's like being on face time with someone or a zoom call and they don't turn on there camera😂😂, It would make it more alive and it would give us the closest feeling to in person since we aren't there. Have a great day and can't wait to see more gameplay when mk1 drops

First, when I started watching my immediate thought was Kenshi was broken, and after watching the game play, I realized that his opponent suffered from a similar problem that I have with not adapting he didn’t use any wake up attacks at least in the clips he very rarely use Johnnys dash move which I think is very good combos while not bad we’re all the same. I have all the same problems but I honestly don’t think it’s sonics character. That was the issue here. Also, I don’t know if star powers any good, but I would like to see it used some.

Sonic made way better use of Johnny. The kick is the go-to star meter builder. The star allows you to mix the opponent and it's armored. It's the way to break the shadow puppet.

Kenshi may need a bit of tuning I think. It’s like fighting 3 characters. Shoot the sento stance is stronger than the Kameo in some cases.

In the main combo that they're doing, why bother ending it short for that dash side switch when finishing the combo with DB4 also ends in a side switch?

I think it’s to do with the spacing, if the db4 puts him too close for the overhead to work with sento, but the dash puts enough distance between kenshi and sento for it to combo

@@naughtiousmaximus7853 new mechanic. You can press up while blocking and it does an animation, you can’t hold it or let go of block/block low until animation is done. If you up block a jump in you get a full combo. Any overhead in the game can be upblocked and it changes frames, usually making them all unsafe

I havent been able to play the game yet but is any of this kenshi/sento shtt even real? Im assuming most things sento does on block isnt safe. So when ppl figure out the game he probably wont be as good as ppl think? Sonic is making him look good playing smart and adding in staggers or maybe idk what im talking about lol

I feel like not giving Johnny projectiles is hurting him.. all his offense and defense is up close… he can be zoned out.. every player that plays him will have to work super hard… someone like sonic is gonna exploit that.

I feel like Kameos should have a “life bar” too. If they get hit like 5 or 6 times they’re completely out for doing assist, including forward throws, to avoid spamming assist constantly and spice up the gameplay more

@@anh2164 what I am saying is the sento spirit should be unable to wait in the background after getting a hit confirm on your opponent. Especially getting a confirm and they combo break and the spirit just stays at the ready to attack. That’s broken. When they heck is it your turn to attack? Kenshi needs adjustments.

The downplay from Kenshi players has already started. Just because a character has weaknesses, that doesn’t mean they’re not super powerful. Past NRS top tier characters have poisoned the minds of everyone where they think that as long as a character in an NRS game has weaknesses then that means they aren’t “ridiculous”. Not saying he should be nerfed or anything, I don’t really think any character should be nerfed for at minimum 3 months or so. Only thing that they need to do is remove/fix bugs & glitches, and an infinite definitely falls into that category. Meaning, taking a characters infinite away (like they did with Kitana and like they assuredly will do with Li Mei), isn’t what I’d consider a “nerf”, but an unintended “bug fix”.

@@alphadaslaya There’s definitely no way you can say he “100%” needs a nerf. IF the only characters and Kameos on the roster were the ones in the beta, then you could entertain that sentiment. But even then it’d still be way too early to be sure that he needs to be nerfed. He could end up not even being in the top 5, hell he theoretically could end up not even being in the top 10 in the full game. He was strong in the beta but only a handful of players actually were able to utilize his tools and there was no training mode to learn how to defend against him. He definitely is still a strong character of course, as I said. But there’s not even close to enough evidence to suggest he needs to be nerfed.

@@alphadaslaya Almost every character in the beta could do that, lol. High meterless dmg is like the last thing that’d constitute needing a nerf. If this was MK11, then you’d have more of an argument. But high meterless dmg is something most characters in MK1 are going to have.

He won @27:00 In the video. He's top tier but he's not on ScorpionProcs or Ninjakilla''s level... You also have to keep in mind that he plays regularly vs Sonicfox... So Sonic knows a lot about his style of gameplay. Finally, he doesn't take the same risks if he's actually playing at EVO. Keep in mind, there's other Top tier players who lose not only against Sonicfox, but even against randoms, nobodies online... Take "F0xy Grampa" he occasionally loses vs nobodies in KOTH yet he ended up 4th at EVO 2023, right behind the likes of NinjaKilla, Nicolas and Scorpionprocs. Xombat was 6th... In other words, you'll notice a noticeable difference between all these players "if" money is on the line.

We only had a handful of characters and 4 days to play so yeah I learned all the chars not professionally as it takes longer than a couple days but it's a fighting game not rocket science lol

15 second x ray is too much. At least reduce the length of the video by 30%. also small characters, increase the size by at least 5% and add running it would be top see for yourself. the characters are small. no running. twitching and not running looks funny :-(
