Do not run power wires +/- along with audio wires, rca cables or speakerwire. Doing so easily creates audible interference usually in a high pitched whine equal to the rate of rpms of the engine. There is another aftermarket component u can buy to counter the effect, a ground loop isolator, but just avoid it altogether by running power wires down one side and the audio wires along the opposite side of the vehicle.

do i need a DAC if i only plan on using bluetooth (which to best of my knowledge is already in digital format) or does the amplifier only interpret analog signals and i need a signal processor to convert digital to analog for the amp? not trying to fork out over a grand for a new amp and speakers/subs. just want a touchscreen head unit

Dude.... how tf do u have the first video result from Google? U had to have paid someone to boost ur search results didn't u? I know that u do NOT know what ur doing well enough to instruct other ppl how to do this. U said expect to break the plastic pins in the door trim and to "find a source" to replace the pins.... No bud, if u have broke pins in or around the time of making this video, udk what ur doing. I bet u learned soon after that there is a cheap tool called a pin puller/remover that is forked so u do NOT break the pins to begin with and they r sold just about everywhere that sells hammers. Frfr tho between me and u, make a video demonstrating how u have the #1 search result for doing this and ill subscribe
