Been listening to Sonic Youth for 30 years and I'm still discovering incredible songs I've never heard.

my pancreas stopped working during the Sonic youth concert at Amherst college in 1997. Got a free ambulance ride to baystate hospital, missed 1/2 the show and still pissed to this day.

I looooove this melody, the part she sings and the guitar, this song is awesomeness embodied.

This album is so underrated.

One of the best SY songs!

Fucking Youth! How I Wish I could have spent my youth in the 80's and 90's rocking out to these guys, Dino Jr, Fugazi, DC Hardcore bands and the likes.

There's a few exceptions (Dirty Boots, Pink Steam, a few others), but in general, I find SY songs that much better when Kim sings. She brings something to the performance that just isn't there with Thurston.

I had this weird dream of going to a concert in Tlalnepantla Estado De México, and Sonic Youth was featured at that concert, caught me very surprised to find Kim Gordon outside the place, so I didn't have tickets to get in, she was kind and gave me one. When I was about to get in I freakin woke up! GOoodammn! lol

Somewhat unrelated , but sometime in the early 00s there was an interview with Kim Gordon available on YT where she literally said that she " believes Kurt was murdered " ( some older people here into SY must remember that too ) ... it´s been over a decade ever since I saw that for the alst time , I wonder why ? Maybe she reconsidered ... dunno ...
