Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart reads 1 Corinthians 6:11 discussing the single most important subject for the child of God, which is, sanctification. Too many believers are wrongly taught in the church that they can work their way to righteousness. Brother Swaggart shares how God is calling Him to bring an understanding to believers of how the Holy Spirit works on our behalf to give us victory over sin. This is done only when we anchor our faith in the Cross of Christ. Christ’s work on the Cross was a finished work to give man freedom over sin; no effort of man can do what Christ accomplished. When our faith remains anchored in Christ and Him crucified, the Holy Spirit will work on our behalf to give us victory over sin and lead us into service to take the gospel to a lost and dying world.

I watched this man from Uganda in the 80s before I got saved and he touched my inner man and I got born again in 1992 and am serving the Lord as a pastor and have planted six churches so far in Uganda. Oh Lord bless Jimmy Swaggart ministries.

I love Jimmy Swaggart even more knowing he had a severe fall. It gives me comfort, knowing that even the mightiest are not beyond temptation. Notice he had a fall, but never became fallen away! When I am weak, then am I strong. His detractors, his accusers mostly of the organized religious world, have never sinned apparently. They are so holy they have never even looked upon a woman to lust, which Jesus said when doing so you have already committed adultery with her in your heart. Yeah those who pointed the finger at him have most likely done more wickedness than Jimmy ever did. By God restoring him proves how loving, how forgiving and how merciful God is toward the humble who abide a contrite heart and who tremble at his word. What the enemy intended for evil, God has turned for good. Those who come across as giving the impression that they never sin are unreal, they're not real, almost intimidating. I cannot relate to such, i.e. the super apostles as the apostle Paul referred that class of people as. Paul said I came to you in weakness and in fear and in trembling. NOT as a mighty one, as a "mighty man of God"!!! Paul said if I glory, I will glory in "mine infirmities" meaning in his weaknesses, that Christ's strength be made perfect IN my weakness.

Over 40 years when I was in my twenties I saw Jimmy Swaggart on TV and sat riveted to his sermon. At the end of his sermon he said those of you watching on television put your hands on the TV and say this prayer if you want to accept Jesus as your Savior. I rushed to the TV and put my hands on it and said the sinners prayer to ask Jesus to save me from my sins. If not for Jimmy Swaggary I might have never accepted Christ as my Redeemer.

Probably one of the greatest messengers of the word in our day. I have known of brother Jimmy, all my life. My grandparents used to play his records when I was a child. He is truly one of the few in the pulpit that tells it like it is. And acknowledges the Holy Ghost and gifts of the spirit. God bless the team.

We love you Daddy Swaggart. The Devil try to make you fall, but you rise again. What I love most about my Spiritual Father, is his Smooth, Velvety voice. One early morning about 3:00 a.m. to seek the face of the Lord, I decided to listen to Jimmy Swaggarts songs, it brought me to tears, I was broken in Spirit, I sobbed and sobbed tears wetting up my Bible by just listening to Father Swaggarts velvety and smooth voice. I know God heard my prayer that morning. May God give u more strenght and health to continue populating heaven.

Yes, and again I say The Spirit of God Almighty still registered in you Jimmy no matter what the CROSS WITH THE STAIN OF HIS ETERNAL BLOOD has taken away all our sins including the entire population who have lived out over these 2 thousand and 23 three years ago. You still the same I knew preaching about the power of the Holy Spirit in the 80s when I was preaching here in Papua New Guinea as an elder in both Foursquare and Assembles of God's Church. Love you with tears of joy seeing you alive and strong as I am getting closer to my 70 years old. I would be glued to our black and white TV screen as a young girl watching you Brother Swaggart and something would happen to my heart. Now I know it was the Holy Spirit drawing me. I would be amazed to see thousands come to the altar to give their lives to Jesus as the choir sang 'There's room at the cross for you' I was thinking of you the other day and prayed for you. Then today I just 'stumble' on this video. Glory to God!

I have been listening to, studying with and enjoying the music of Brother Swaggart for over 40 years now. I have learned so much from him and he opened my heart and world to a closer walk with my Savior, my God and Holy Spirit.. Thank you Brother Swaggart you are a true servant of God. My late husband loved this man and soaked up his teachings. My family owes you a huge debt of gratitude. One day i expect to see him in one of the largests mansions in all of heaven.
