Ellie is very smart but untrained. When she looks at you while you do your daily deeds around and about, she is looking for a command and lots of communication is in hand signals. She is very smart but with lack of training she is very confused.

Well, I've got one thing to say about your video today and that is your Dad really cracks me up, that speech of his at the end was a real knee slapper. Thanks, I really needed a good laugh today and the two of you provided me with a few good ones today thanks again, guys. And Cole stay off the bales! You need to get yourself a log to roll around in Lake Sonne. If you can keep your dog out of it while you practice, or you could try to get her up on the log with you. That would boost your number of viewers. Oh wow just had an excellent idea, how about we get your Dad up on that log along with the dog, now that would bring in a few viewers along with a few good chuckles as an added bonus. And yes Cole Mr. Marley would be proud of you. What do you other viewers think about having Brian and Elly up on a log in Lake Sonne? Vote now by commenting in today's video and in all of the future videos as well until we get either Brian or even better yet how about Cole up on that log with the dog. He is, after all, a world champion log roller or so he says. I guess we all have to start somewhere.........................right?

It's amazing how much you can stuff up the throat of a bailer. We never used rakes. We used a Massey swather with a 35 foot belt to windrow. I was always impressed how quick we could get a patch done. But we never loaded it out on the cut and stack side. So hauling it out was something I rarely saw. I had a CDL and rarely ran a semi. I had tools and could fix anything, so I was always grounded to the field like a rebellious child. :P Great Vidya Gents. Safe and steady. God Bless.

Uh... did you check the oil before you started? I learned to fix that problem long ago. I cut the dipsticks back about 8 inches so dad always thought he was low on oil. That way, I always had a few extra gallons in the tractor. Btw... I know you saw the Bud Lite truck go be on the interstate, but you must have missed the Busch Lite truck behind it. It was the one that had the HazMat stickers on it and smelled like rotting death. That's their new beer. It's called " Busch Maggot Ultra" . It's great that the dealer is letting you demo all that new equipment. I asked my dealer if I could demo some new stuff. He pulled out a new cattle prod and stuck about 50,000 volts through me and said, " Demonstration is over. Will that that be cash or Visa Card?". I got the last laugh. I charged it on the credit card that neighbor Ned found on the ground next to an auto accident last week.

Hay hay hay! Hi again guys and I'm glad you are all well. So, the haymaking is coming to a close, apart from the baler breaking down it looks to have been pretty painless? Nice job the baler was still in warranty. Those bits of metal are fairly expensive..then they coat it in green paint and the price magically doubles. I loved it Brian when you stood on the bale and declared you had conquered the field....now get the loader lol. That looks a great crop of hay there. I'm looking forwards to the hay hiker demo. It'll be interesting to hear what you think the pro's and con's with it as well as some great video. Cole, I was retching with you at the smell of that rotting critter, that smell and rotten eggs are my weak spots. Stay safe guys!!!

@SonneFarms
@SonneFarms 4 жыл бұрын
Dead coon. We stop the baler because if we keep going the bale would get too big. There are sensors in the baler that measure the diameter and once it gets to the desired diameter it makes a loud beep noise to indicate it is ready

Hey Cole, the roll in your baler most likely broke due to center filling the baler. This can put undue stress on the center of the roll. Your tractor tread is set on 60” row spacing which limits your ability to crowd the side sheets of the baler with the placement of the windrow. Further crowding the side sheets will also increase your bale density by tightening the bale. The friction of the side sheets acts as a break to the turning bale. If this is the cause of failure, it will most likely happen again if not corrected..... just a thought

Some bloke sitting on the porch rolling a smoke with his machine 💡⚡ Maa Paa i think i got a good idea! -> maybe happened this way 15:30 The Bailer Redesigned from Australian engineering econ fodder in 1965 hay roll bailer professor Wesley Buchele from IOWA usa "Farmers were saved from the backbreaking chore of slinging hay bales in the 1960s, when Iowa State agricultural engineering professor Wesley Buchele and a group of student researchers invented a baler that produced large, round bales that could be moved by tractor. - well you learn every day 👍 Note: Originally conceived by Ummo Luebben circa 1910, the first round baler did not see production until 1947 when Allis-Chalmers introduced the Roto-Baler. Marketed for the water-shedding and light weight properties of its hay bales, AC had sold nearly 70,000 units by the end of production in 1960. The next major innovation began in 1965 when a graduate student at Iowa State University, Virgil Haverdink, sought out Wesley F. Buchele, a professor of Agricultural Engineering, seeking a research topic for a master thesis. Over the next year Buchele and Haverdink developed a new design for a large round baler, completed and tested in 1966, and thereafter dubbed the Buchele-Haverdink large round baler. The large round bales were about 1.5 meters (5 ft) in diameter, 2 meters (7 ft) long, and they weighed about 270 kilograms (600 lbs) after they dried-about 80 kg/m5 lb/ft. The design was promoted as a "Whale of a Bale" and Iowa State University now explains the innovative design as follows: AUSTRALIA 1965 - In the summer of 1969, the Australian Econ Fodder Roller baler came out, a design that made a 135 kg (300 lb) ground-rolled bale. In September of that same year, The Hawkbilt Company of Vinton, Iowa, contacted Dr. Buchele about his design, then fabricated a large ground-rolling round baler which baled hay that had been laid out in a windrow, and began manufacturing large round balers in 1970. In 1972, Gary Vermeer of Pella, Iowa, designed and fabricated a round baler after the design of the A-C Roto-Baler, and the Vermeer Company began selling its model 605 - the first modern round baler. The Vermeer design used belts to compact hay into a cylindrical shape as is seen today. In the early 1980s, collaboration between Walterscheid and Vermeer produced the first effective uses of CV joints in balers, and later in other farm machinery. Due to the heavy torque required for such equipment, double Cardan joints are primarily used. Former Walterscheid engineer Martin Brown is credited with "inventing" this use for universal joints.🚜🌾🌾🌾🍥🍥🍥
