i love how abish wasn't trying to sell his video by forcefully delving into controversies rather he stayed true to his goal of wanting to know about Munawar's journey. Abish is a superb interviewer i hope we can see more and more of his work.

The way munawar has explained each and everything so sensibly it explains so much about person.....he knows what has to be said and the way it should be said ....its a delight to hear from him always

Throughout the interview munawar struggled to explain the technicalities of his own jokes. And I was thinking what exceptional command Abish has over this craft called comedy. But in the end when munawar said "aap apne aap ko boht rok ke rakhte ho. Kisi ko hansana hi hai toh kya hi rokna khud ko" I realised, damn he's so right. The rawness gets lost behind all these technicalities. Munawar wanted to tell a joke. So he told it. And audience even laughed. Doesn't it serve the purpose of the joke?. He started the journey and now technicalities will come along gradually and eventually. Kudos. To the raw talent👍

"Munawar Iqbal Faruqui" - Remember this name for the next decades. Khuda ka Banda! He is the next superstar in the making. No one can even come close to his ethics, qualities, understanding of life. He has everything that needs to be in a great human being. He has everything to become whatever he wants. He has all the qualities that can take him to a level of SRK and even beyond.... I hope he gets right opportunities and be surrounded by right people and positive people. thanks LockUpp for giving him opportunity...but He is beyond this show... His level is way above than any other contestants or even makers of the lock upp show. He is above all when it comes to morals, values, standards, qualities, talent, courage, humbleness, accepting victories/fighting defeats, and what not...i can keep counting his qualities and i am out of words.. I just adore this fact that how lovely and calmly Abish listens when someone speaks he pays special attention to all the details. Munawar is my next favorite comedian, he is aware of his writing to what and where he has to use all the facts and truth while making it funny, his intelligence makes him funnier. Love both of you❤

People who judge and calls him names won't have half the courage to make through so much.. Dear Sir, Abish Mathew, This is in regard to appreciate your amazing show "JOURNEY OF JOKE" from the bottom of my heart. I have laughed, was emotional, and sat in awe in admiration of the talent of the comedians you have hosted in your this show. (Not that their talent is not evident, but you accentuate it to next level by letting them speak about it.) Your show is not just a glimpse of the journey of how that specific comedy happened, it also is the story of the person delivering it. When Munawar says "yahan kab baitheinge yaar" it was like masssstttttt and a fanboy moment. You listening to him to first few long minutes and letting him to complete his that part of narration was highly appreciable. I KNOW COMMENT SECTION , LETTER LIKH DIYA to KYA, had to do it. Summing up, the level of creativity, intellect and spontaneous thoughtful deliverance of all the talented people in your this show is fabulously brought in-front of the people. Watched Munawar's interview on Beyond The Laughs with Punit Pania yesterday, and it's interesting to see the difference in the way he talks about the same thing with different people. With Punit I think he had a very homely vibe whereas with Abish, it was much more professional. That also shows that he's not acting when being interviewed or stuff, he's just being real. Feels good to see people like him getting the much deserved fame & success in life. ❤️

This has to be my favourite episode of journey of a joke yet, cause it covered 'journey of a comedian' too! Which is very important and intriguing for upcoming artists in any field. It showcased an insight into the comedy environment, how people start with open mics, the struggles in the beginning and with the pandemic situation and of course the joke analysis. It had different viewpoint than the established comedians till now. And the way he speaks and thinks, he is bound to be known even more.. 👍
