Planning a weekend in wine country in Sonoma in 2021? Join me on our recent trip to Sonoma, California. In this travel guide, I will share with you where to go wine tasting, where to stay, and where to eat.

@@SophiesTravelSecrets I've been in the City of Sonoma for 23 years but just moved to Petaluma a few months ago. Come back for Harvest Season in the fall. That's when Sonoma is the best. :)

more like an hour from SF w/ no traffic. 1.5 hrs if hit traffic on Hwy 37

Do they have wine yours that will pick up tourists from San Francisco for both Napa and Sonoma ? If so, what are the names?

I would think there would be, however I've never done this. I would recommend doing a google search or speaking to a concierge at a SF hotel to see who they might recommend.

How did you start the bike tour?

We did a self-guided bike tour with Sonoma Adventures. They have a choice of routes you can do and they delivered & picked up the bikes at a certain location for each area. The whole process was incredibly smooth!

Sonoma County is still in a restricted Covid tier, inside dining has been closed since August of 2020, maybe don’t travel here yet. The virus is rampant because people will not stop traveling here, and then complaining about masks and outdoor seating only etc.
