I recently bought all three of these (plus a Sony XB33, a Beats Pill+ and a JBL Charge 4) to demo at home. In terms of sound quality the Bose is the hands-down winner across all genres... It's really not even close.. Kept the Bose Revolve 2, returned the rest.

Honestly the Sonos sounds better to me. Bose actually sucks on the job site just my opinion but glad you liked it.

Kindly play the same sound clip (same parts) when comparing speakers, that makes the comparison uniform.

All of these sound great. I bought a bose revolve after reading all the reviews and wanted to own a bose. But straight from the pack it didnt sound great at all. Then I heard a lot nice stuff about roam. Was almost going to swap it, when I thought I would give Bose another chance by pairing the speakers. Boy o boy, that sound in a closed space from well positioned speakers blowed me away. It was just exceptional. So guys if you are after one speaker, it might be good to go with boom 3 or roam or jbl, but if you can spent enough for 2 speakers, and if you love nice muffled sound with fantastic stereo, go for BOSE. You will never regret it

@@LagunaLeonhartrevolve is a mono speaker, but if you buy another soundlink speaker may it be another revolve, you can stereo pair those. You can get a concert music experience to a small instance when you position both speakers in a certain way in a closed space

True! I use one revolve in stereo mode with one revolve + and this combo is a game changer.

This is a more thorough comparison than most. UE has best balanced sound, Bose has best mids (vocals) but isnt as good in other frequencies-depends on your personal tastes. Fyi i found that UE Booms have better mids than these UEs

Thank you ! Very few reviewers include rock during their sound tests, but most use tekno or such genres that favour higher mids. Rock gives a good idea of these bluetooth speakers' performance since it favours higher base, lower mids and upper highs. So this was very helpful to me as a rock lover :)

I think putting the speaker when playing it in the middle would have been more fair because the audio coming from each side distorts the quality and makes for an unfair comparison :)

Replacing my Bose Soundlink Mini and Sonos Roam was best value replacement and least expensive as well.

Bose has the open and ear pleasing sound.sonos has coarse , bose is smooth vocal.

UE is a cool speaker, built like a tank and awesome design and plenty of volume. Sound quality is just satisfactory though.

I thought the Sonos roam had the cleanest sound. I was listening to this on my Sonos play 5. But which one truly sounded better? They were all similar but one had to try be the best right?

I would say that the boom 3 was def the loudest, but the Bose was just barley a little more clearer than the Sonos but very little difference

which one sounds best to you Amanda? It's a little hard to guess with KZfaq audio compression, but to me, it's Sonos>UE>Bose

Don't you think Sonos is expensive for no reason? Its like much more expensive than UE. So personally i think UE is best in terms of quality and price

I did the same and it wouldn't charge..... But then I found a Reddit post relating to this issue, put it in the freezer for 20 mins and it will charge, and then download the app on your phone and update the firmware 😎

Sonos is by far the winner… these reviews got me all confused and after said and done there is absolutely no question!!! Don’t waste your time.. and money… Sonos blows away the rest. No question

It is pretty close between UE and Sonos, but I will give it the edge to Sonos as the rock music was better sounding. Bose was unbalanced and muffled in comparison.

@@gilbertismael7476 yeah, good to know that you had the same results. I was quite sceptical as each viewer has different speakers to listen to this video comparison. So having consistent results is a good metric to judge sound quality

I'm here still debating. I loved my megaboom. I love my sonos sound system I've set up. But Portable I can't decide at all. The 360 of the boom 3 is great. It bumps more But quality wise the sonos is the winner. Today the sonos is cheaper than the megaboom 3 by $20-30.
