"Sons of Westwood - Fight Song" has always been UCLA's song, dolt. Westwood Village is where they're located. How old are you, 9? 10? Can't be more than 10.

I only recently learned that this song was adapted from Cal's "Big C" 1913-vintage song ca. 1960. There was much controversy, but it turned out that UCB never copyrighted the music and it is in public domain. Do you know how many fight songs and alma mater songs are copied from other schools, or are based on still older tunes? Look up "Far Above Cayuga's Waters" on Wikipedia and get back to us!

@@majkus I've always liked that the two UC schools had similar but different fight songs. Rivals, but still part of the same public university system, and with shared histories going way back.

@@uclakirk Me too, actually. They also have similar ursine mascots for that reason. See also the mascot for Los Angeles City College, which inherited the UCLA campus in 1929 when UCLA moved to Westwood.

@@JeyJJeyJIt was a Cal fight song before UCLA stole it. It’s actual name is Big C.
