True, and even Paul wrote 1 Corinthians 4:15. Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.

Brother listen, you are just like everyone. And you too began somewhere. You very well know and understand that we are all born again Christians and that was by believing in Jesus. And the scripture says that when we believe in Christ, we become His children. Now there is difference that we need to understand, I cannot become anybody's father just because I mentor them. Because I can only show them who the father is and not take His position. If you my Brother are just like me who was a sinner but now believe and rely on GOD for everything, you also need help in everyway just like me, why would I call you Father? I can call you a brother because we are in Christ. Paul called timothy his son because Paul was an elderly person and he expressed his Love just as we do. But what we see today is very different. We are celebrating people more than GOD. And I don't understand why people get offended when we refuse to call them father. I am really concerned about all the new concepts in Christianity. It is better to stay away from people and get close to GOD. Just like Jesus. God bless you.

You are right on. This "prophet" is missing the entire point. You must lead people to the heavenly father that is not you no matter your title whether self given or someone on earth gave them the title. This "father/mentor" gig has really been abused to create a cult to the man and not to God.
