Silverfish and in particular skimmers can play a huge role in winter catches and pellets will often out perform other baits when it comes to putting together a large net of these fish. Lee takes a look at rigs, feeding, the bait and presentation at the stunning Partridge Lakes on the venues Holbar Lake.

ive been desperate to go fishing with my new pole never tried the pole b4 always used a rod but its always the same up in the north east the water is always frozen over am so hyped to go but no to cold lovely video tho awesome to watch and learn

Hi lee I love your videos just one question the pro expander pellets for the hook some people leave them in the water all of the time even through the session. Some people say they dry out and start to crack but I noticed yours were out of the water. I always leave mine in the water because of this although I've never tried with out. Any thoughts or tips?

"Hi Martin, They only crack if they start to dry out, so in the summer months I look to keep them in water or at least covered with a damp towell. When it is a lot cooler I have fpund no problem leaving them like this. It isn't warm enough for them to dry out throughout the day and I feel they stay a little firmer rather than progressively softening during my session."

Hi , first of all great video, second, what's the difference between skimmers and bream? (cause I'm not English, and don't know the term skimmer

Hi, a Skimmer is just a name for a small/juvenile bream. What size a skimmer is before it is classed as a bream is debatable. But technically the same thing!
