I have used this lens for a week when i bought my A6000. And replaced it for the Sony 18-135mm. But if you have the chance and budget, replace this lens as fast as you can for your own good. The Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 is very recommandable. Almost the same reach, far better image quality and still very good in low light situations. Thanks to it's f2.8 aperture.

Appreciate the review. But I had to grab the volume button to turn it down when the music came on. Btw, I spent hours considering the Sigma 18-50. If you know how to use the kit lens, it's about 85% as good, so should be fine fro online images & social media. Plus the kit is half the size and usually half the price. Looking at your video once again, it seems you phone does very nice background blur.

Wie klein die Welt doch ist... dachte gerade: "Den Ort kennste doch", da sagst du, dass das in Herford ist. Komme aus Kirchlengern :) Fotografiere selbst seit ca. 2 Jahren und in der Zeit ist das Ganze zu einem richtigen Hobby geworden. Habe mir das Sigma 56mm direkt mit der Kamera gekauft (an der Canon M50) und ich liebe es einfach! Cooler Content, weiter so, mein Abo haste! Kompliment auch an Lara, das Posing sieht schon sehr professionell aus.

Awesome video, really needed to see the comparison with the kit lens. I have a Sony Alpha 6400 and was checking out this 50mm lens for making some professional dance videos of myself. Any suggestions for this will be very helpful, thanks in advance. Keep up the good work 🤩🤘🏻

@@epochmellifluous9810 15 days late maybe 🙈. I went ahead for Sigma 56mm, I considered that i have a decent mobile(OnePlus 9 pro) which takes manageable videos from a wider perspective. So 56mm might help in pics and zoomed in videos. Though I was having a biggg confusion between 30mm and 56mm☹️. Mostly leaning towards 30mm. Still not sure but I got 56mm. Though thanks for your viewpoint, will help in future 😁🤘🏻

Looks great! I have used the a6000 with the kit lens but the results weren't as good... if the micro SD size is lower then 32GB does it affect the quality?

a6000 does not shoot 4k video. 1080p HD is the best it can do for video.

I feel like anyone that has to watch a video about a kit lense vs a 50mm 1.8 to see which one is better...should really really go back to taking pictures on their phone and get informed before buying a camera 😂 nice video though!
