I had 24hrs with the ‪@Sony‬ a7cII and wanted to see if I could use it in a real life setting creating a mini documentary/commercial spec ad with it. I didn’t rig it all up literally used the new 16-35mm gm 2.8, the Sony A7CII and a ‪@PolarProFilters‬ ND filter! All natural light and the settings that was given to us by ‪@ImagingbySony‬. Everything was handheld. I just wanted to see if there was a difference between this and my Sony Fx3 and honestly as far as results I didn’t feel a huge difference look wise.

Really like the set design/stutter effect and the subjects really made this interesting. The camera didn't even matter, its all about the eye of the creator, great work!

Thoughts on the sony ZV-E1? Having a tough time deciding between that and the A7CII. E1 has better low light and video capabilities with a slightly smaller size while the CII is a better hybrid option with a view finder.

So the Sony zv-e1 is a good camera! The a7cii the thing o didn’t like was it did 4k crop at 60fps 1.5 crop. That was my biggest issue and the low light is no where as good as the other. For me I do mostly video since I have other cameras for photo so I would choose the zv-e1 over the a7cii but if you want photo and you don’t mind the crop do the a7cii. Other things I liked about the a7cii is the over sampling of 7k. Reminds me of the fx30. The sharp clean 4k image. Also I liked the AI reframing. Thought that was cool!

@@BrittneyJanae Im thinking about going with the E1 because I do have an R6 for photos (canon colors>>> HAHA) but then the issue is having two different lens systems etc. How often do you find yourself using 4k60 for videos? I don't think I would do slo-mo much so the CII may be the best option to have one lens system entirely. Also, YOUR VIDS ARE AMAZING, KEEP FUCKIN GRINDING!!!

@@AMALHI15 thank you! I use 4k 60 a lot for my commercials and docu b roll and I shoot for target a lot and their events I’m always shooting 4k 60 with unpredictable lighting conditions. So that was huge for me. But the a7cii was nice the size was tiny and lightweight! I just need low light and 4k 60 for my work. I have the canon R I use for photos. It doesn’t have 4k 60 and I realized how important that was when I try to shoot slow mo on it and it goes to 1080 lol
