The Sony A7Cii has been an amazing compact and powerful travel camera. Affording you some really advanced features in a lightweight travel system. A true hybrid camera. I did run I to a few issues where the Picture Profile I was using for my video footage would continue to be applied on my RAW files. This was not by choice. I’m this video I will talk you about how I avoided this issue.

Under the toolbox icon, there is a section for "Different Set for Still/Mv". You can choose Picture Profile to remain independent between the two. I have mine set up that way and have had no issues switching between the two.

I just had this issue yesterday and did this from a Google search. Basically I thought I just had to check that on. But you have to go in it and select which things you don't want to carry over

Great video 🔥 My wife and I had our 2nd date at Disney back in 2016 and it was both of our first time going. We were married the next year, and we took our kids for the first time last year, magical place. I’m going to be picking up the a7cii in a few weeks and I think that 40mm is going to be the first lens I grab with it. I sold my A7Rii a few weeks ago (the autofocus couldn’t keep up with my 3 and 5 year olds) and have been using my FX3 for stills to hold me over. They look great, but I’m excited to get my megapixels back. On the FX3 I use M1 [24 p], M2 [60p], and M3 for stills and I’ve never run into any issues. Maybe I’ll set the a7cii up in a similar way and avoid the mode switch. Thanks for the heads up 🫡

Love the camera thats gonna be my next one once i can afford it. Right now im rocking the a6600 i got used for $700. I started off with the a6000 then a6400. This saturday my family and i are going to DisneyLand and will be brining along my a6600 with a tamron 17-70mm f/2.8.

That first issue. Easy fix. I don’t remember how to do it. But I had the same issue. Big help I am. 😊😊.
