I couldn't stop looking at the A7RV's screen. As an a1 user I'm incredibly jealous of how sharp the images look on the panel and the way you can maneuver it.

Hey Pierre love the streets of Japan, I liked the Silver Porsche. I always enjoy the videos you do when you photograph the Pedestrian Crossings. Especially the ones you photograph in America, when it rains and the people walk at the Pedestrian Crossings with there Umbrellas. The Colours of the Umbrellas with the rain look really nice. Thanks for sharing this video.

In Japan, taking pictures of people's faces without permission and publishing those pictures on the Internet without permission may infringe on privacy rights and is restricted by law. Specifically, the following laws are relevant: 1.Personal Information Protection Law The Personal Information Protection Law regulates the collection, use, and provision of personal information. Photos may contain personal information of the person taken. Therefore, it is illegal to shoot and publish without permission. 2. Portrait rights Portrait rights protect the rights to photographs taken of a person's face and figure, and it is illegal to take and publish without the permission of the person who has the portrait right. 3. Defamation If photos taken without permission are used in an inappropriate context, they may be accused of defamation. Therefore, it is illegal to take pictures of people's faces without permission and to post those pictures on the Internet without permission. However, it may only be permitted under certain circumstances (for example, if it is taken in a public location or required as legal evidence). However, in general, it is prohibited as an act that infringes on an individual's privacy.

great review. For a7rv, i hesitate between that amazing 20mm F/1.8 and 24mm F/1.4 gmaster. did you compare both ? I have already a 24-70 F/2.8 GMII so perhaps 24mm is redundant. 20mm is wider ! How do you force eye detection on a7rv with lens button (already asked but on a old post 85mm F/1.8 ; looks removed from options due to AI in a7rv) ?

I'm still undecided what lenses to pack for Tokyo for carry on weight limit... Last time with APS-C weight Was no obstacle :-D Either 20-35 2.8 or 40 1.4 for wider angle, or 50 1.2 instead of 40 because it's much lighter. 85 1.2 or 135 f2 for more telephoto? 40, 85 or 80-200 2.8 are all just so heavy :-D

You are right, I was also way more excited about the 20mm. For street it is a bit too tight as you want to tell stories and this gets way more difficult. Still possible, but less possibilities.

Japan is the same as anywhere else, you can take photos in public of anyone and pretty much anything. Capturing a front of a home from the sidewalk is totally fine, long as you’re not zooming thru the window with a tele lens.
