I bought a 48 inch one on Cyber Monday. I had used a 32 inch Sony Bravia for about 13 years. I am blown away by the new one. Colors, overall quality of the picture and especially the sound system thats built into this. Some folks may want to add a sound bar but I love the built in audio of this tv. Apparently very underated. I live in a small Cape so the 48 inches is the perfect fit for my space. Sports has been looking awesome which was exactly what I was after. I am seeing why they call this a master class tv. Extremely good build quality and performance. I love the lighted remote too with the feature that helps you find it should it get misplaced. Amazing TV.

I have been waiting for my 2007 Sony 40" TV to burn out to get one of these...I swear it's gonna last another 15 years 😂...it actually has a better color and more sharpness than most medium class 4K tvs... If I get a newer tv I'm gonna save and show it to my kids...look how tvs📺 looked back then in the mid 2000's... lol

Thats the thing with these Sony's. I have a 32 inch thats 13 years old and still going strong. I moved it to the bedroom and bought the A 90 K in 48 inches.

Owning the lg c2 42 inch was a great tv however it lacked depth. Just got Sony a90k yesterday 42 inch and it is amazing. The only flaw I could find was it could be brighter. The tv accommodates for all the gaming features especially on ps5. Games like Spider-Man and uncharted feel cinematic. You can almost feel the textures. KZfaq upscaling is top notch too. Google tv is super quick with little to no lag. All in all Sony has done an amazing job.

Currently have the c2 42 and was debating on getting the a90 42 instead - my concern was the brightness though- I’m wondering if the 48 inch model is brighter? Currently it’s the same price as the 42 inch model

Best TV I’ve owned. I did some adjustments from KZfaq TV Techs for this TV They were good but still not perfect so I turned up the Black levels a little bit because I thought the TV was too Dark then I turned the color level back below 50 because it was a little too bright for colors. Now I have the Most Natural Color TV I've ever seen. The Picture is Clear & Bright and skin tones are Natural. It took a little effort and thinking but now I have a Great Looking Picture.

It didn’t look like there was a custom picture profile where you were scrolling down to Dolby V. Is there is a custom picture profile?

@dragonsangel7777 They are extremely similar TVs, so you honestly can't go wrong either way. We don't have the A80J available any longer so we'd say to go with the A80K, but honestly, your best bet is to buy whichever one is priced lower. Is there an expected A90K refresh? Looking at getting the 42” for my office but I see it came out in 2022. Don’t wanna spend the money on it if it’ll get an updated version in the near future

@alex marques We found the C2 to be a bit brighter using the eye test. We don't have tools to measure them scientifically though. Both are good to use as PC monitors. Can you only select Dolby Vision when watching 4k content?As it's not an option to select when watching. Say SkY TV.

@jeffwilson2982 Dolby Vision is not limited to 4k, but it will only work if what you're watching was mastered in that format. We don't have Sky TV in the United States so it's difficult to say for sure what is going one, but according to our research it looks like there is Dolby Vision content available to watch on it. You may want to double check the video output on the Sky box you have hooked up to the TV to make sure there's not a setting that needs to be switched.

Is this brighter than the c2 and c1? The s95b looks badass but too expensive. But i wont argue the s95b has amazing value for the price. Also whats the difference between a80k and a90k? Is a80k brighter is it just more expensive cause of screen size? I might wait till black friday or next year if i can get the a90k at 1100 or a 1000$ that would be an insane deal im glad sony offered a smaller screen size option for oled. I cant fit bigger than a 42” cause my viewing space is rather narrow

@@abtelectronics nice yeah the c2 is about 2-300$ cheaper than the a90k a90k right on i’ll check it out this will be a huge upgrade from my 40” sony led. Its about 9 years old so im gonna replace it and get an oled for my ps5 as soon as i get the money.

@user-yq2bx5yi7r This TV does not have an analog audio output so you'd need to use something like this: bit.ly/3XIFbdW and then a male RCA to female mini plug cable. So it's possible, but you'll need the right parts and it might not be worth the added expense. This TV actually comes with a great sounding audio system.

I got this TV and it has a bluish dull tint that is very noticeable when looking at white lettering.

@Crusader General You should not be seeing a blue tint if the TV is working properly. You may want to try unplugging it for a few minutes, and then plugging it back in. That will help occasionally. If that doesn't fix it, you may need to exchange it. Can i still connect a soundbar arc through hdmi 1 or 4 without using hdmi 2.1?

@Max The Lakers Fan The eARC channel is located on the HDMI 3 so you would be taking up one of the HDMI 2.1 spots. However, if you're not using an Atmos soundbar, you could always use the optical audio output and keep the HDMI input free. Thanks for watching!

Sorry, at about 1:30, you discuss the remote. I would certainly appreciate a remote suggestion that still has REAL buttons, arrows, Fast Forward, reverse, etc. IMHO, the remote is terrible!! The salesman pointed out repeatedly that the only way to handle this TV is by lifting at the bottom. OK, how do I get it out of the heavy styrofoam piece that holds it in the bottom of the box?!! If the above mentioned remote dies or just doesn't control the TV, there are NO buttons on this TV to get you out of a jam. Is there a REAL owner's manual anywhere? The picture is great, but the things you have to live with on a daily basis are a step backwards. Maybe everything designed into this TV are clear to those who designed and are in constant use of it, but we don't know what they know! Know ahead of time that the 48" version weighs a good 50#. A 55" TV will be too much for one person to handle on their own.

I have a decision to make. I can buy the A9S for about $230 less than the A90K. I’m not a big gamer so I’m kind of on the fence with this decision, any ideas?

@jonathanmoss8502 If you're not a gamer you could really flip a coin. The A9S is known to be a bit brighter, but the A90K is the newer of the two models and has those gaming features through HDMI 2.1 if you ever wind up with a PS5 or X Box Series X or S down the road. Our opinion though would be to go with the A90K.

@@abtelectronics Thanks for your input, I was leaning that way too. I like that the base on the A90K can adjust to be able to accommodate a sound bar too. I currently have a TCL 50S535 that is still working quite well, just thinking of upgrading. One last question, is the Google android OS much harder to work with than the Roku OS that I have on my TCL? Thanks 👍

@jonathanmoss8502 If you're used to the Roku OS then there may be a slight learning curve, but we don't find the Google TV OS to be difficult to use at all so you should be able to pick it up quickly.

I ended up getting a Sony A80K 55” and love it 👍👍👍The picture is amazing and I tweaked it with some personal preference changes. I bought it with Abt Electronics and literally everything about the purchase was fantastic, highly recommend them and the salesman Lou Taglia was great 👍 I couldn’t be happier 😊👍😊

PQ is better than the LG but If you are a gamer go for the C2 for the features (4 HDMI 2.1 port bla bla), I only care about movies, so I take the Sony. Screen is semi-glossy, not glossy (that's how Sony says, not matte)

@jhamm15 We shot this video a little while back, but I believe it was set to auto when we set it up for the first time. The auto setting does a pretty good job handling the motion without giving your picture that soap opera effect, but we definitely recommend trying out the different settings to see which one you like the best.

Samsung dropped the nits on there s95b oled from 1500 nits too 1000 nits on game mode and movie with firmware 1302 ,so buy a Sony

I would avoid them. They have a matte finish so contrast will suffer. Get LG.

I would assume the matte will deteriorate the pop in color and may lower its brightness, I myself was lookin at getting an oled monitor being the lg 48gq900 but due to that screen having the matte anti reflective coating as well I am more leaning towards the lg c2 48"!
