@@EsoTarek I don't even use a TV cabinet in my room, I have one of those freestanding TV stands. Reason to get that big block of wood/metal/glass away from speakers. I think you can get some that hold a soundbar. And then use smaller tables or shelves if you need things like consoles and DVD players. Or maybe Sony still offers a subwoofer that you can add to the TV itself?

@Rennie Ash yeah I've seen those but don't really like having things on display. I have an ikea sideboard that's my tv stand. Also I take it you don't have kids lol, I wouldn't trust my toddler around those stands

You might see better improvements in the Samsung because this gen doesn’t have heat sink or DV. Other obv ones would be size options and for Samsung a better build quality to stop the panels from bending

Yeah i literally can't think of what else Sony could do to improve the A95K other than more HDMI 2.1 and eARC ports. Maybe different stand design if their data shows them people didn't like this one. Even more sizes. Gaming hub stuff i think is fluff mostly but they could add one. Other than that though, it's... Borderline flawless. They could probably get away with just re-releasing the A95K again in 2023 with a slightly lower price honestly.

I highly about that, since WOLED for desktop use means agressive ABL / low brightness OR burn-in. C2 is terrible as a PC monitor, already tried one for 2 weeks and returned it. Some games looked great but ABL was kicking in alot unless you gimped the brightness like crazy. Even OLED PC monitors have very noticable dimming ON/OFF when using it.

@@Dr.WhetFarts I honestly dont mind the dimming, the big thing that will prevent me from getting an OLED 27/32 monitor is the matte display LG is going to end up slapping on all of them

@@KG_BM lol you can legit enter the menu via a website. No special remote needed. Been using a 42C2 as a monitor with all burn in prevention turned off... And guess what 2000 hours in and 0 burn in.

Game Mode : Samsung S95B vs. LG G2 vs. Sony A95K Hey Y'all - I know there's a plethora of posts with a similar title (because I've read through most of them) but I'm hoping for a more specific experience someone's had with the game mode(s) of the above listed TV's. All reviews I've checked out say something like Sony's picture and motion is the best, LG is the goldilocks and has the most gaming features and Samsung's TV gets very bright and is the cheapest of the three now with some of the recent sales. What I haven't heard as of yet is how the picture quality compares specifically in game mode. Sure, LG tv's have a very low input lag which is awesome for competitive gaming but it does degrade the picture quality. I know because I've compared my LG CX I currently own to a Sony a8h last year and was surprised at some of the details that year's Sony TV offered. Is there a discernible difference between Sony's 9.4 ms response time in 120fps mode compared to LG's 5.9 MS? Anyone's experience with Samsung's S95B in game mode would be welcomed. It's hard to stay on top of how their game mode has changed recently with firmware updates trying to fix a couple stated issues reviewers have called out.

@@UAE-KSA I doubt most people will notice much below 20ms input lag. Unless you are some really pro gamer you certainly won't be affected by 3.5ms.

S95B regardless of firmware is the brightest OLED TV. I have been testing S95B from stock to newest firmware and it's much brighter than A95K and G2 especially in terms of color brightness and ESPECIALLY in SDR content.

@@SpawnPoiint shame the C2 is only 48 inch. Side by side, my eyes saw that the C2 just isn’t bright enough, so I’d have to go to the G2. Of all the panels, for some reason the Sony 84K was my favourite. Could just be the calibration or lighting in store but it popped on certain scenes whereas the C2 disappointed me as my expectations were so high. I think the brightness and gloss levels are bigger points for me than I first thought

@@stuartt2154 Don't forget that "in store" is a tough environment for TVs being so bright and with the TV usually in "demo mode". Brightness may still have an effect for HDR stuff however or if you use in a bright room yourself at home

@@RennieAsh yes it’s deffo a difficult task seeing them at their best. Apparently the Sony a80k is actually the same panel as the C2 so I’m going to go with the Sony as it’s slightly brighter and less glossy. Who knew deciding a tv would send me down such a rabbit hole 😄

Been a long time Sony customer since PS1 to be precise. For the last few years Sony has become a greedy cheap anti-consumer company like no other. They been cheaping out on everything they possibly could in recent years. PS5 has 32gbps HDMI 2.1 which can only do 422 HDR at 4K at 120hz and with high end TVs u clearly notice it. Also the TVs only have 2 hdmi 2.1 slots. X900H cant do full 4k at 120hz and cuts vertical res by half so the pic is very blurry. Also VRR disables local dimming. Every update they push to fix issues causes issues to other previously working parts. Multiple auto reboots and crashes. I will never buy any other Sony TV and recommend everyone to do the same until Sony get their shit together. Everywhere you look , corners have been cut in their products.

Ended up buying LG G2 after much contemplating between that and the Samsung S95b. I sent the Sony A95k back for a refund as well

A little brighter? Lmao. The S95B destroys A95K in terms of brightness and color pop, especially in SDR and with game mode active. S95B is easily the best gaming TV on the planet. It even supports 144 Hz native and has 4x HDMI 2.1 with full bandwidth and pretty much every feature you can think of + VRR + Gsync + Freesync and has Wi-Fi 6. A95K is gimped in terms of resolutions (can't do 1440p, can't do 144 Hz) and only has 2x HDMI 2.1 where ONE of these ports is ARC so you essentially only get ONE HDMI 2.1 that can't do full chroma sub 4:4:4 and the chip is 3 years old + Wi-Fi is dated as well with Wi-Fi 5 meaning no WPA3 support ever and much slower speeds. Sony is updating their dated chip design in 2023 for a reason, they have been lacking behind Samsung and LG for years in terms of connectivity and features in general.
