In this video we will have a quick look at the SA-WMS345 Sony active subwoofer, tear it apart, install new AC cord then test it.

hi, thank you for the video, I want tell you a tip, when you want cut off the robber of the cable using the string cutter try it flip it and use in the edged cutter side

This is an excellent video on how NOT to repair anything that is plugged into a mains socket! Didn't solder wires. Removed the strain relief then hot glued it.

no way without cutting......if I'm not mistaken it's glued on so I gotta be gental

Be very careful when doing this because the capacitors could still be holding a charge and chances are you could get shocked from the capacitors so make sure that the capacitors are discharged before opening it up

Hi! I have a Sony SA-WMS7 sub. I would like to clean the speaker membrane. I already removed the screws (8 pcs) from the front, but how can I access the speaker? Is the front glued? Please help me!

Dude you need to stop posting things like this ......1. Ever heard of a soldering irono and decent connections ?2. Safety First ! This is NOT the way to replace a power cord. You just cut away the part that holds it in place when pulled.NOT done !

apart from the fact that he has not even tinned the 220v cables ... but only insulated heat shrink ... I have not seen technical knowledge from this person but only "do it yourself" .... a fraternal advice is I learn first the safety rules even if you are a hobbyist second and notions of electronics are the basis of every appliance in repairs .... it is not enough to change a cable and turn on the appliance. You went well that it worked I wanted to see the barrels of San Marco on the Subwoofer you know what a show ... and then we technicians get the shittiest hassles in this world ... good luck and good day to everyone

the front plastic panel is glued you can try to insert a knife between the wooden frame and the plastic and it will pop off

Osea que lo acomodaste asi. Tengo uno asi enciende pero no da audio las salidas buenas transistores condesadores. Pero pence que se te podia pedir ayuda pero si sabes pegar dos cables mejor investigo yo

I have Sony wms325 ,the subwoofer turns on, but does not output audio, this happened when someone connected the signal from out to out with the cable.

usually you can access the speaker by removing the front panel which is most cases it is glued in, I didn't remove it with this subwoofer, but it should be the same
