Use these settings if you think the Dolby Vision HDR on your Sony XR A80L looks too dark or dull. And don't forget to leave a like.

This helped a lot, didn't change any of the adv. Color adjustments since I don't understand what it does.

Don't change adv. color adjustments settings as Sony's XR Processor will adjust itself according to the content.

Phenomenal settings I just put it on my A80L 55' inch..I wonder if you have any settings for the SDR content(CableTV,Sports) ect

Thank you for this helpfull guide. Are this settings also suitable for sport games and news content from tv (it's mainly HD, not 4K resulotion) ?

For sports, I would suggest keep the motion and film on auto mode.

Thank you for answering my question about being able to turn off Dolby Vision. I can't stand the look and don't like the fact that manufactures aren't allowing you to be able to turn it off. No one should have to pay such exuberant amounts for televisions and not be able to make any adjustments as they see fit. This is the television I'm looking at purchasing in the next week or 2.

I don't think you can turn off Dolby Vision from the TV settings, at least when watching Netflix. I have noticed while watching Netflix that there's only 3 picture profiles, Vivid, DV bright, and DV dark.

Yes, you're right. There's no option to turn off DV when you're watching Netflix. But you can change settings on DV preset to your liking.

@tazbahahisrael3190 those things were made like tanks because they were built for longevity, and quality was the top priority. Nowadays, people prefer to have the latest tech and sleek designs for the cheapest price tag. Longevity doesn't even matter.
