Love this concise quick review! I just got one for my little Sony ZV1 to make my quick vlogging setup even faster. It'll live on that indefinitely only because the ECM B1M/B10 isn't compatible with ZV1 even though it's the hot shoe. So rude.

According to Sony Hong Kong technical support department when the a7c2 connects to the ecm-g1 microphone, it can only use analog input. If you use a7c2 with other higher-end microphones, you can use digital input or analog input. So when g1 connect to a7c2, there is no fully automatic audio leveling function. However, on other Sony camera models such as the a74, the camera can continue to use digital input and use the fully automatic volume leveling function. Regarding this issue, I sent three emails to Sony's technical support department in Hong Kong, China and Japan. Reflecting my dissatisfaction, why do the same microphone have different reactions in different camera models. I use the a7c2, a relatively entry-level camera, because I hope that using an entry-level microphone, I can adjust the volume completely automatically, without having to spend time manually adjusting the volume.

you might want to include the other mic in the thumbnail , that would be helpful for you , for me I clicked because I want comparsion between mics as much as possible to make a decision , so yeah make that visible in thumbnail ^^

Does processed audio mean you put the mic on? I can't tell the difference between processed and unprocessed haha

Thanks for checking out the video!!Processed audio means that I applied EQ, noise reduction, or some other sound enhancing software. If you’re listening off of a device without any headphones, you really may not notice a difference.
