Owned this for around 4 years (2007-2011) till I moved to android. Loved this beast !!

I really miss The "Megabass™ of W810i. Only few Sony Ericsson phones had TRUE Megabass. It doesn't boost the bass , It Produces the bass frequencies in a totally different way that cannot be achieved using any Equalizer setting. I have used a lot of Android phones and iPhones too but can't get that bass effect of Megabass. Only people who experienced True Megabass will understand. Some people think it's a just a bass boost, Its not

I remember my parents bought this for me in October 2007. I used it until 2012. This really was something, I knew this phone is awesome, but somehow didn't know how awesome it is! My last non-android phone. I could type messages in my pocket, blindfolded, unlike now. Not a bad camera either, and of course the sound is awesome. My parents actually bought this for me because of that music option. Such a good and happy carefree times, this review brought a bit if it back to me. Cheers, thanks man!

The only phone i missed too much ever.. Not even a year, i lost this phone at cybercafe after unplugging the usb cable from cpu. Only cable that i bring home, but phone is not. 😢😢

This is the first brand-new phone I got on Dec 2007 and this was the most valuable phone in my class until someone bought a Nokia n70 if I'm not mistaken. Best gift I have ever had as a kid. I used it until 2013 (I dropped it in the sea 31st of Dec). I don't keep trash but I still have it even though it doesn't work. The camera quality was perfect for that era. (2MP one). Just typing this comment while looking at it. My father could buy more than 1 carat of gold for the money he spent on this phone at that time. We had to call service provider in order to get the gprs settings to enable the internet access.(First time I called a service provider too haha so much memories ) Thanks dude I needed this...

I'm still using a Sony ericsson W595 as backup phone, everything works perfectly, those Java games are much better than the smartphone games nowadays.

Owned this phone brand new back in the day. Loved it so much. I actually feel bad that I let it go after. What a blast from the past, thank you.

I had the one before this version, W800i from 2007-2011. Having those phones back then was like a symbol of power. I still own a Sony Ericsson K750i which I still use & it is 1 before the W800i. The Walkman was designed for music, remember putting in a 4GB memory card on the phone & having over 800 songs as well as photos & music.

Best phone of all time. Bar none. So ahead of it’s time in so many ways

Found one of these under my oven in terrible condition a few years back, bought a charger for it and still use it today. Terrible phone, but I'm a cheapstake so I don't replace it
