Primarily, we invited Michal Hurník and others to test the Sony A9III camera. We got the 300 2.8 lens as a bit of a bonus. We don't see ourselves as sophisticated lens reviewers outside our category, which is landscape photography. That's why we also called our video "First Impressions." We're not pretending it's some in-depth review. On the other hand, I have photographed with similar lenses in my life. That is, with prime lenses 300 and 400mm with an aperture of 2.8. And honestly, I don't know what new and interesting things can be said about these lenses. They are the absolute top in their category, and it essentially doesn't matter whether they are made by Sony, Nikon, or Canon. Their character is practically identical. Now and then, some so-called innovation appears, which, however, has its limitations, such as the Fresnel optical element. Honestly, the only really interesting thing about this lens is how small and light it is. Otherwise, its quality is absolutely identical to similar exclusive telephoto lenses with the same aperture :)
