Sony ICF 2001 was dead when I unboxed. Trying the tips from teh forum on the net. The metal connector rod wires between the Computer battery ( 2 x AA ) and the radio battery must be connected tightly to PCB. If only the battery rod for radio connected ( 3 x D size ), nothing will out from the speaker. So the battery for the computer must be good and well connected to the board. Et voila it is back to turn on again. FM, AM and SW. But not the SSB. LCD screen still blank. Thanks God.
