Exellent sensitivity and receive,,very mediocre audio,and a lack of advanced functions,outdated

Many thanks for supporting the channel. Well, the audio is not that bad & can you please specify which advanced functions it lacks being a portable world receiver in the 80s receiving all bands and modes especially SSB was the norm in good-quality SW radios. Of course, it is outdated it is from many many years ago.

@@spacetimeengineering I just have bought a mint condition 2001D (Third one I have owned over my lifetime,) and considering it was made in the early eighties, still blows many modern portables away. Manufacturers are still turning out radio's without SSB, this shows lack of insight into SW recievers - even in 2024 ! So happy I found one again!
