Would love a section like sleep/bed comfort. I like to fall asleep listening to podcasts. If I roll over on my pillow, will I notice them like I do with say Samsung buds, or are they small enough not to notice?

I've been using sony ear duo for about four years now, and they have the same open ear technology. Love them. The sound quality is okay, yes, even though i never needed them to sound superb (nonetheless they, for me, sound nice and decent and I hear audiobooks and music well in busy streets), but it's definitely a great thing that I can hear my surroundings, especially as I tend to walk in the dark places after work. As for people being afraid to talk to me I noticed that my friends, family or acquaintances never think that I can't hear them, I barely take them off even at home. So I'm definitely excited for a new generation of open ear headphones from sony. I'm pretty sure I'll buy them after they'll come to my market. Also love your review, appreciate your honesty while testing the product and not being completely against linkbuds like some bloggers))

I finally got a pair of high quality ANC headphones a couple of years back and while they are great to have when you absolutely need quiet in a noisy environment, I absolutely hate the ear pressure from ANC and the unnatural quality of pass through. These seem like the perfect compliment to those. ANC headphones for noisy environments like airplanes or if you and your partner WFH, and LinkBuds for exercise, running errands, or any situation where being able to hear your surrounding is key. But the price feels a bit steep for the sound quality. I'd love to see the price drop or wait for next generation improvements to better justify the current MSRP.

Been trying to find headphones to use while cycling and was heading down the bone conduction route, are these a better alternative?

Great question - we tried these when cycling and it's really important you find the right fit so that they don't come out. Also, we did find wind noise was a problem when you are travelling at higher speeds on the bike but if you are looking for a budget solution, they are better than most other earbuds for this purpose. After wearing earbuds for years I have developed the hot feeling in the ear canal that I need to let it air out once in a while and the itchesness. I can't wait to try this out

Please help. I bought then and I have the s23 ultra, now the volume isnt that high on max volume. And another thing is, there is a little nice base (for open ear of course) when its on medium level of volume but when I max the volume its just vanished. So sucks tbh. Any advices? Please

Hi First off I've only come to this late, but it's important to say compared so many reviews this is a great breakdown review including video quality, material for review etc... But.. But the only review I've seen that included the visually impaired because so many buds are about sealing the noise away and never a good review on what transparency is effective or not etc etc.. So chapeau... And thank goodness it's from a UK reviewer for once.

Hi Jonathan, the B&O E8 Sport are excellent but a different price tag to these. We were really impressed with the new Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW for £149. Review coming out on Sunday!

Here’s the biggest problem they have; they are not very loud. I mean, these are meant for full time ambient awareness, so having them deafeningly loud defeats the purpose. But be aware, this will be useless on a loud city street or busy office space for anything besides speech.

On a more serious note, I thank you for mentioning the blind community. I've heard other reviews of these, and there are two things that keep me from buying them: the mediocre battery life, and also the noise bleed. If they fix those two issues, these would be fabulous. Thanks for a great review.
