Hi everyone, thank you for 21:32 of your time. In this video I restore the Play Station 2, it's a bit older game console but still very enjoyable to play. Also in this video I made paint mod to make the console looks different and unique

Not to look selfish, but imho drawing skills never fade away. I stopped drawing a loooong time ago, and when I restarted, it was like I just stopped yesterday evening. Strange, but true. I think our body has muscle memory for this (and painting, plastic models, clay modelling, etc.) Have a nice day =)

Ps2 era were the days where we had no problems in life, where we can just sit and play all day with a complete family,I miss those times where all my siblings are still at home and we would just play dragon ball Budokai Tenkaichi together ❤️ I had lots of great memories with the ps2 the first ever game I bought with my own money as a kid was The Simpsons Road Rage😂,I also remember when we go out and buy games on the store here in our area everytime I don't like the game I'll just go there and say that it's not working and just choose another game😂😂😂.

Yeah, we were alltogether with friends, relatives to play games and had fun. We played outside yugioh card games everything was so exciting but nowadays it just seems to me.. lonely... PS: DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi is my favourite game its so amazing, fast hype battling moves its so astounding! greetings from germany

Graphics aren't the most important feature in a game. The most important is the fun gameplay. PS2 has a lot of very fun games, it doesn't matter if it's old or not. The same goes for other old consoles. Great restoration video.

When I heard you wanted to paint the console, I grunted, because usually painted electronics look weird to me. But dude, you are so skilled! Beautifull job! I wouldn't paint the controller, because I am afraid what will happen to the paint after prolonged use, but the console looks amazing and the artwork is brilliant. Also I love you try to keep old tech alive, while other people are just throwing it away. That's how it should be.

Beyond the amazing restoration / refurb process (your skill is easily evident in your steady and skilled hands, working with complex and precise equipment) I really apprecaited the "final result" part of the video where you discussed the importance of not simply throwing away technology amidst the charm of these older PS2 games. I couldn't help but smile at your sense of history and appreciation of how games don't have to be at 4K 300FPS to have a profound effect on the user. Fantastic video as always!

A PS2 component cable (y pb pr + audio) improve a lot the quality of image. I'll never go back with RCA cable after try a component cable.

this yes, when removing the modchip, use FMCB :P large hdd, and maybe a real network adapter or one of those cheap sata ones :P

Fantastic colors and art. I like it. Nobody touches the launch PS2 ever. I guess because it's has a dual main board that's soldered together. You have to desolder four points just to separate the two boards just to replace the cmos battery. I do wish I had the single motherboard model. So much easier to disassemble.

Is there any chance if u can make a video on how to fully clean and restore a console that’s used to belong to a smoker and smell like tobacco ands has stains in there as I’m in that situation lol I’ve used iso alcohol but still no use

I always wondered how is the finish using those sprays? don't you need some special type of spray using a spraying machine or a coating layer to make it look smooth, especially for the controller which you dd sweat on.

Great job as allways. Fun fact ps2 was the best seller console of all playstation conscoles. I still have the ps2 slim and fat. I also prefer old games. Istill have my ps1 Wich i think is the greatest console.
