I live in a tropical country so ice hockey is not very familiar to me. But when I try one of the NHL games few months ago, I started to like them, especiallyI am the rare person to not really like soccer/football. I only have access to PS1 games so I try to explore all the hockey games as possible when I see this video. Thank you! I may try all the games..

No one seems to really have a good answer to this but what is the best hockey game on PS1? Googling this it seems like its a toss up between NHL 99 and 2001 but what hockey game is actually best? Ideally one that has a good career/season mode but also good gameplay.

Man, there was a hockey game i remember playing on the Ps1 that had a yellow Disc with the title written in Red, I can't find it anywhere :/ ... also the game had a pretty comic tone, the game menu was all black background with yellow elements

Breakaway 98 was so ugly but I played the hell out of it as a kid.

98 may not look the best but the puck doesn't look like a cheese wheel.
