It's been remastered now. I bought from PS store for my PS5. I'm sure it's on all platforms as well.

Great review! I love this game, and I purchased and dumped the Preview Build that another comment mentioned. I am hoping we can one day find an early build with the original Astral design (shown in the E3 trailer and after credit sequence of Primal)! The NTSC release (Japan and US) had a lot of bug fixes, added cutscenes, character design changes (very minor) and quality of life improvements over the original PAL release, I still prefer the original but only because of the control changes they put in.

This was such an odd game, I always found the atmosphere and soundtrack/sound design to clash with the overall story and voice acting. I personally never minded the goofy plot or the obvious inspiration from the first ghostbusters film with it wanting to add a comedic touch but I can understand why it didn’t take off and become a franchise.

Got this from GT news years ago 2006/7 maybe, and it was only recently they got rid of the shelves with the old Xbox, ps2 games and CDs on even after changing owners.

I recently downloaded a rare beta for this game on the hidden palace discord and its mind blowing how much has changed in the game. Many levels and environments changed, Astral had a charging ability which I can assume was for attacking but I'm not sure. Also some ghost had redesigns most notable the poltergeist and the death angel (the death angel actually looks like a creepy angel back then than It's uninspired spook reskin we got in the finished product). Overall a good review from you and I hope you keep up the good work!

@@glumz_ I didn't upload any beta footage but my friend Foulhooked did upload a play through of the beta on his channel as he is the one to upload the beta on hidden palace in the first place. Interestingly, the NTSC version goes for a hell of a lot more than the PAL version - I suppose it was pretty popular in EU and AU?
