In this video I will talk about two famous Soundbars which are really very popular and Best Soundbars in India in 2021 under 15000. I will be unboxing Sony HT S20R Soundbar and Zebronics Jukebar 9400 Pro Soundbar in this video and will be doing an in depth comparison of the two. These Soundbars are similarly priced at 15000, and in this video I will compare Sony S20R with Zebronics Jukebar 9400 Pro Soundbar in VMone Style. This has been the toughest comparison Videos I have made so far because both Zebronics 9400 Pro and Sony S20R sound very good and very similar to each other. Both Sony S20R and Zebronics 9400 Pro are 5.1 channel Soundbars and come with Home Theater type surround channels. While Sony S20R is famous for giving great value in this price, Zebronics 9400 Pro is known for excellent sound quality. I am fan of Sony sound systems.. I already own sony's 2k headphone and Bluetooth speakers.. But I bought zebronics 9400 at 11k .. My friend have Sony ht-s20r .. I checked sound quality of Ht-s20r it's good.. but not that great.. Guys one thing I agreed in this video is about True bass and high bass.. Zebronics is just amazing in true bass.. Sony has high bass but it's a fake bass.. Sound quality is just awesome in true bass systems.. In high bass sound u just hear bass overlap in other instrumental.. Those who love true bass.. Zebronics is awesome😍

Dear Vineet, Thanks for sharing such a wonderful comparison. I heard all the audio files and came to the conclusion that for me Zebronics is the better choice. However my requirement is for lower wattage since room size 22*12. I believe 180 w of Zebronics will suffice which is costing rs. 9k. Hope Zebronics have maintained the same sound quality & features. My usage will be more for listening to Hindi movie songs by Bluetooth connectivity from you tube. Hope that model will be good enough. Thanks!

Thanks for your efforts. Appreciate it. I purchased the Zeb 9400 after watching your reviews. I am facing an issue though, with the surround speakers. They work when using BT but via HDMI arc with Vu Premium Android TV , the separation doesn't seem to happen. Can't hear the surround as in BT modes. Pls help.. Am using a Highspeed Honeywell HDMI arc cable

Hi Vineet, great in depth review... Would really appreciate if you could share your opinion on the channel separation for the surround speakers as they are 5.1 system, to get true home theatre experience while watching a movie. In case if it doesn't delivers does it makes sense to buy a virtual surround system which comes without the surround speakers.

Yes channel separation and real speaker performance are very important while watching movies to get real cinematic experience. Vineet Sir please compare 2 soundbars with proper sorround channel placement by playing movie clips

Channel separation is not good in either of them. They are not meant for it since they still are budget soundbars. But you will find normal surround sound effect in both.

I fail to understand what is the big advantage of 5.1 sound bar.we have a sub woofer rear speakers and center channel with front and right channels in the same bar very closely.instead you can go for regular 5.1 system where front speakers can be placed separately.l personally feel regular 5.1 system is better. The performance will be for better.

Thanks a lot for the great comparison. At 15:11 you said that dolby atmos is decoded only via optical cable in sony ht-s20r. Will HDMI ARC won’t do the same for this sound system?

High Frequency is missing in Sony so it lacks sound clearity whereas in Zebronics you can listen every frequency so here I believe Zebronics is the winner.

Sony has more balanced sound than zebronics,,, aurround also matters in 5.1 channel which truely shines in sony,, crystal clear sound with good base and excellent surround with reliability of 8-10 years is the way to go ,, i always go fir sony and i have ht rt3 sony sound bar and i am fully satisfied with it ,, truely emersive 5.1 channel surround

@@482thekingable really awesome for movie watching and use the clear audio+ for 5.1 or else every other setting will only be played in 3.1(soundbar and subwoofer only) the rear speakers will be off if you dont use the clear audio+ and if you like bass in your music then go for it and use the standard or the music equaliser for music or you can also use the clear audio+ for 5.1 channel surround music

Yes I heard the uploaded tracks for better sound clarity. What happens is when the bass in Sony kicks in it gets imposed on other sound notes. That's the main difference which I could make out. I personally have Sony HT RT 3 for 4 years but with required adjustments it produces amazing music experience. I also had Sony Hi Fi back in my native. The good or bad thing about Sony is the bass is always on the higher side, which suits my sound taste. In any given day I had and would always go for Sony.

@@VMone sir you told that both soundbars can decode the Dolby audio, but where to decode. It's decode the OTT apps or playing normal movies via pendrive where to decode pls tell me sir... And when we played movies via pen drive both sound bars are can decode the Dolby audio or not....

@@sasispn The movie file ur playing should have Dolby Codec/Audio. The soundbar and TV will automatically detect and decode. If the movie or music doesn't have Dolby audio or Codec, it will play as stereo or the soundbar may upmix it, but still it won't be Dolby audio.

@Vineet Malhotra 11:23 when I listened to the actual song on my studio-grade headphones, the sony sounded more realistic or more similar to the original file, whereas the zebronics sounded like the surrounds were boosted quite a bit hence those surround sounds of the song are more pronounced, which sounds a bit fake, but I'm not sure!! edit: my studio headphones are flat from around 10hz-40000hz

@@VMone sir i just listened from Google drive and compared , what i felt is sony vocals felt so real but high bass little fake where as zeb voice little dull but music sound is little controlled/ channelled better than sony which sounds sweet for hearing longtime where sony sounds little annoying.

Sir Good evening. Hope you are doing good today. I am changing my sound system almost after 10 years as my TV does not support RCA output. I have a Sony MHC gzx33d speakers that are around 10 years old and really love them because of how full they used to sound. I dont really find that quality now in sony as it was 10 years back. But looking at Sony X30D, was interested in buying them. Any suggestion on this. I am not able to find a demo speaker any where in Bangalore currently. No one seems to keep anything else other than the soundbars right now. Any suggestions on any alternatives. My budget is around 50k. Do you think buying Sony X30D will be good idea or i should try out soundbars instead. Will be waiting for your suggestion.

Provide best solution for lengthening of surround wires.Idk why 5 more mtrs wires cannot add these brands.If we can't place surround channel at right place it has no means of dolvy sound.

Buy any generic Copper cable and add the length to surround channel wire. There's no harm in doing that.

Hello Vineet, Kudos to the detailed videos you are making on this channel! However, I needed to point out a mistake you mentioned on this video. I'm a Sony HT S20R user. In this video you mentioned about the Dolby Digital capabilities on this device. You said that only the optical in supports dolby digital. That's not true!!! On Sony HT S20R, HDMI ARC & optical IN are capable of Dolby Digital. Their manual clearly mentions that for dolby digital audio, use either the HDMI ARC or Optical IN. To clarify further, I have contacted Sony and they have also verified that what yo mentioned in the video is not true!! Please correct the wrong info on your video. Thank you.

Hi VM ji i'm your big fan and i'm from kerala. Older days i cant understand but after you introduce subtitles i am happy with that. ❤If we are playing a movie while the hometheatre produce more bass, so we cant hear the dialogues completely. Otherwise keep remote to controll the sound then only we can hear. I am a big music lover and good action movie lover, so please suggest a good home theatre. And i cant understand completely about the hdmi-arc difference in zebronics and sony in your video, could you please explain one more time. Please❤

I had noticed this difference in much earlier while went to buy them.... that's why bought a 2nd hand Ht rt-3...as it's wattage is quite high I think it has overcome this issues a quite.....I would love to see if vinnet sir makes a comparison video of ht rt-3 too😀.....still I would say sony has bassy sound signature in all its systems.... even bluetooth speaker 😄 actually I think in movie watching bassy sound is preferred...thats why sony might have optimised like this....🤔

An interesting comparison video of RT3 is coming next week. As for Sony's policy, they make this Sound Signature only for India because yahan sabhi ko Bass pasand hai. No where else in the world they tune their speakers in such way.

HDMI is more capable of delivering dolby audio sound effect, it is made for that purpose though optical cable can deliver compressed audio formats like dolby digital. Sony's HDMI ARC connection does support dolby audio.

@@riderfoodieramesh7349 for compressed audio formats like Dolby digital both hdmi and optical connections work pretty much the same, anything higher than that HDMI is better, it's better to go with HDMI if you have HDMI arc option in your tv and sound bar as it's just one cable that does all than having to connect multiple cables in case of optical connection..

Rajesh: These are not Home Theater systems, these are Soundbars made to look like one. They just have additional surround channels. You will find normal surround sound effect in both which cannot be recorded in a Mic, for that I will need a proper Audio recording studio worth Crores.

I have zebronics 9800DWS Dolby atmos soundbar with wireless subwoofer 🔊 .. I purchased it after a long research for a good audio system for my TV.. trust me i was blown away by its performance and it continues to amaze me whenever I play content having crazy elements of music.. my thoughts resonate with Vineet here as I am a Sony fan boy and use a lot of Sony products, no doubt they’re made of high quality but this zebronics product I am currently using has outdone Sony in many ways.. Please do your own study and try out a few products before committing to buy. Zebronics does have a pretty impressive line of products. I just wish they start producing here in India instead of importing ‘made in PRC’ and rebadging.

Good review 😊 I have connected my Sony S20R with Sony X-9000H. Sound quality is really good while watching regular TV and KZfaq videos. But only drawback I felt was the low volume levels for dialogues while watching 4K content on Netflix and Prime. If we increase the sound to hear the dialogue, the background sounds gets very loud. Not sure how to make it sound better. Overall it's a decent home theatre in budget.

for Sony S20R, you can fix the issue, go to Volume up, chose volume up level 2 you will see the difference, also use HDMI ARC port to connect, and enable dolby digital mode using your sony remote.

What i feel is that Zebronics is producing more midrange along with low and high, Sony is producing lesser mid range and more bass which i prefer, so I will go for Sony.

Go With Sony: I have both sound bars at my home and I can surely tell you- go with Sony. Zebronics gives you no clarity on vocals and even can't feel much music seperation compared to sony s20r. **Sony 400 watt but 👍 **Zeb 9400 pro 525 watt but 👎 Zebronics is just getting whole sale products from china and rebranding them in india. You can even see the same model with same Dolby, wattage in Reconnect Brand.
