Good video. Some times you can Solve that problema that way, but in other ocation, you must check the volts of VGH, VGL AND VDD in the T-con.

@@juanjoseplazaola3743 that was actually the case. I repair TCON board by removing shorted cap but then lines appear. Flex cable and socket clean do the job

@@tech-corner2556 didn't work. After i plugged-out the cable, the screen only show white blank, then when i plugged-in the cable again, it will show vertical lines again. I guess the cable faulty already, or it's port

@Katey, Are you sure that the screen is not cracked? Then the issue may be in T-CON board/Panel or Main board. As the 1st step, replace the T-CON board and see.. Good luck..

@Mohan, Thank you for your comment. first of all think about safety. DO NOT touch the power supply board, it has high voltage even the main power cable is disconnected from the main plug (It has high voltage storage in capacitors). Don't keep the screen side on rough surface, it can be easily cracked. Keep it on the bed as I do.. :-) . Take time and unplug and re-plug cables safely, they are also easily damageable, if you apply unwanted force on them. Good luck..!

@@tech-corner2556 Thank you for replying sir. Kindly suggest to me how else I can solve the problem. I have cleaned the cables as suggested by you but have not succeeded in solving my problem. Thank you for showing concern about the high voltage. My tv has a Power supply adapter like we have for Laptops. Perhaps i may not have any high voltage in the circuit in OFF condition. What else could be the problm. I get the lines along with Picture. The picture is not sharp as it used to be. Please suggest me some way Sir. Thank you so much.

@@mohan1102 Thanks for the details. The power adapter has 19v and it is not harmful. BUT THE LED BACKLIGHT DRIVER CIRCUIT GENERATES HIGH VOLTAGE IN THE LED DRIVE BOARD(it convert 19v into high voltage). THAT MEAN STILL THERE IS A DANGEROUS VOLTAGE INSIDE THE TV. Can you upload a small video clicp with showing the issue clearly. Then I can help.

@Darshan, It will not works. The important step is that cleaning the ribbon cable's pins using alcohol to remove oxide in the pins. You can use a pencil eraser to remove the oxide if in case you can't find alcohol. Just rub the pencil eraser carefully on the ribbon cable connector pins. Good luck..!

@vijay, If this cleaning does not fix the issue, replace the T-CON board. May be the issue is happened in bad T-CON board when heating up the board. Good Luck..

@@Dileepkumar-rr6ob issue was resolved now.. issue was not with TCON board, technician changed ICs( CUFFS) which are on TV base..now it's perfectly working fine.

Most of the time it will be a different problem. Cleaning is least of the problems. On my YT here in the TV playlist, you can see all other faults, but this one ;). That should tell you something.

It is nice to hear that you fixed the tv using this method. The behavior of electronics is normally unpredictable. If you did the clean well and the cables are properly fitted back. Most probably this is panel issue which is difficult to fix. But you better try replace the T-CON board and see first.

First try to do reset the tv in two ways (If this is a software issue, it will be fixed). 1. Turn off the tv and unplug the main power cable. then press and hold the power on switch on the tv(not in the remote) for around 20 seconds. Then plug the main power and turn on the tv. 2. If the above method does not work, do a tv reset via the tv settings menu.

Mabye he's trying to fool you. Be careful while giving you TV for repairing.

If you have some experience on removing back cover and handling this stuff in safe way, try this method before you bring it to a repair person.

@N.A.K, What did you mean by tape? If you can't find alcohol just use any clone and a soft cloth to clean. Or you can use a pencil eraser to rub the ribbon cable ends.

@@N.A.Kisgood OK not I understand what you mean. That a good trick for fixing panel issues. It works with most Horizontal lines and flicking issues. Not the Vertical lines.

@@trippy_b still facing the issue.the repair center are pointing out towards display pannel problem and the replacem cost is very high.

@@nikhiltalkar644 I'm getting horizontal color lines ob my screen, thinking about cleaning it before going to repair center.
