The CXA1129N CHIP, SONY did not make the information about this CHIP available, and it is the same as the Coca Cola formula. the TOSHIBA TA2154F does, and SONY no longer makes components. For me, this Radio is a new version with the TOSHIBA CHIP. As several companies manufacture CHIPs that were already manufactured by TOSHIBA. The SONY SRF-M37 uses this TA2154F CHIP, I have a new one. reception is much lower than the CXA1129N. And the only CHIP manufactured that works with 1.5v is the TA2154F. So as there is no way for another company to manufacture the CXA1129N CHIP, the only alternative is to use the TA2154F.
