Do i just use the dual audio connect on my Galaxy Note 9 to sync 2 speakers? Or will the NFC take care of that?

You need to make sure that you have that option activated inside the menus of your phone. NFC only facilitates the connection with the speaker. If you do not have the option activated in your phone I believe it will not work.

I'm looking to use this as a speaker for my 2019 macbook pro, which is hooked up to a monitor, for quality sound and conference calls. Will this work for that type of setup?

I haven’t tried connecting the speaker with a Mac. I am not sure if it will work or not. I would prefer you take your Mac to a local store and ask if you can test it out before buying it.

Can you charge it with a USB through a Mac or PC?? Or can you only charge it by plugging it into a wall?

VeleVlogs I did not try that. But if you keep in mind that the power in on the speaker port is 5V via AC, I am not sure it will work. If you consider that USB 3.0 is 4.5W out then I am not sure it will work. There are power banks that can output that much power. But even so, depending on what power bank you would use and it’s power output, you will most likely have to charge the speaker while it’s turned off and not playing. Keep in mind that you would still need a USB to AC adapter to do that.

Mate I’m getting that speaker soon but I have the smaller one the xb22 my mate chucked it across a field n bounced off hard ground n well yeah it’s rucked they should mate it proper chuck proof so it doesn’t break

As far as I Know, the only speakers the support wireless party Chain (up to 100 speakers) are the GTK-XB60, GTK-XB90, SRS-XB20, SRS-XB30, SRS-XB40, SRS-XB21, SRS-XB31, SRS-XB41, MHC-V71D, MHC-V81D. Since I haven't personally tested the XP12, there is no way I would.be able to confirm if it will work.or not. You can either contact Sony directly or take your SB12 to your local tech store and ask to test it out. It could even work m, but you have to keep in mind that even if it does connect, there might be a lag in between speakers. You really need to test it to know.

I have it mm just got it but it lowers volume as bat is dieing. Make things worse can't listen and charge at the same time... Awful! I might return n just for that m. Otherwise love the exaggerated bass but that's a real deal breaker.

@@r3drift You definately have a defective unit. Mine does not do that. And I can listen while it is charging. I actually tested it this week by pairing both the JBL XTREME 2 and this one with my Note 9 at the same time! Both speakers were plugged into the chargers. You need to get yours looks at.

If you can get it under 150$. Then yes it is worth it. It isnt the most powerfull speaker to use in outdoor parties, but honestly neither is the JBL XTREME 2. My opinion of course. If you are going to use it in your room, office etc.. then I do recommend it. 👍

I say it is worth it. I bought it just over a week ago and I love it. Depending on where you live though, it can be expensive. I've seen people on here say they bought it for 100$-150$. With the 3 year warranty I have on mine, I paid over 400$ for it. It is worth it but expensive.

+A True. Everything is expensive where I live. The speaker where I live alone without the warranty is 320$. Worst is I bought it to use it to listen to music in my car. I have since had a stereo with Bluetooth installed in my car and I don’t use it anymore.... Might sell it and see what I can get out of it and put that money towards buying a MacBook as I want to buy one soon.
