i thought i saw a very tiny gap on bottom bezel left of the sony logo, (despite u having closed all the tabs of the bezel), Maybe in some cases a double sided tape application is needed on the inside of the bezel?

Why is it that in other videos (for this specific model) they ask you to remove the hard drive and all the screws in the back, but this video didn't require re-movement of the hard drive?

I have a sony vaio laptop. its both hinge covers from bottom are broken, mean bare metal with wires can be seen. From last few days, i see my display is blurred a bit, colours used to pixelate. I guess bcz of absence of back side of hinge covers , some force is being applied on LCD which has caused this problem. When I press in the middle of the lower edge of the display somwhere around f5-f6, clearity is stored. All am thinking of is to place some tissue paper below the from bazzel strip at the point so that there always be some pressure and my problem would be solved. so, is it a good idea to excute ? or do you have some better suggestion and I have already searched for those broken covers, but couldn't get
