Thanks for the video! I have a question - Is it compulsory to apply a new layer of thermal paste when replacing the fan? Or can you simply remove the fan, clean heatsink/fan/vents and then screw it back on? Thanks!

@@stefaniasaccuman4263 I asked the same question elsewhere and got an answer. Once you remove the heatsink etc and break the thermal paste/bond, you need to reapply thermal paste before reattaching.

Depends on what do you want. It's probably not going to overheat, the APU uses a petty amount of energy, it will run a bit warmer than before. But I wouldn't even think about not cleaning and reapplying thermal paste, and this being a laptop, don't buy a cheap paste, get something like Arctic Cooling 2. Saving $4 is definitely not advisable either.

Am using this laptop but am facing issue of shutting down, i have clean the fan, ans is speading well, i have but therma paste on tje processor is after clean up still the same shutting down help me what can I do
