Have these headphones and am a premium subscriber to Deezer for years but they only have select songs you can play with 360 audio, didn't realize you could with Deezer as that service provider isn't listed when you buy these. My favorite custom equalizer setting is the regular vocal boost but 6k at 0db with bass at +10, makes everything clearer, pop a bit more with treble and has deeper bass as well as more room to play for higher volume control. I worked on my equalizer settings for hours as songwriting is my profession. Thank you again!

I’ve watched a couple of your videos on the M4’s. Really nice coverage. I purchased them and looking forward to experiencing them. We have several acres that I mow a couple times a week so these should be a Godsend for my music and podcast listening. I was a little apprehensive about getting caught in rain but I will just need to be careful and keep my eyes to the sky. I’m actually surprised no one has made covers or sleeves to provide a little protection coverage for the various ports. Thanks again. I’ve liked and subscribed.

Excellent video. I just purchased my first headphones (M4)today so I had no history of knowing the settings which I should have. This has saved me hours of fumbling.

Great video! Absolutely love my XM4s, and here are my EQ settings in case anyone finds it helpful. Personally for me they are perfect for maximum clarity, and imo they perform very well for a wide variety of genres: I took the “Bright” preset, and then tweaked it a little bit. I changed the 16 kHz bar to 10 (max), and increased my clear bass to 2. This brings way more clarity and is imo a great setting that works for many different genres (EDM, pop, rap, rock, metal, classical etc.). This is great for me personally, because I listen to tons of different genres (as listed above), and I don’t want to change my settings every time I switch from genre lol

Where are the surround vpt and sound position control....i remember having those functions on the xm3s but i cant seem to find those functions on my xm4s. May i know if there’s a way to turn those functions on or did sony remove those functions?

How well do they work for meeting calls? I'm looking for something that can also help reduce background noise. I live with my siblings, and they are very loud. Is the microphone good at reducing sound when on a call?

If Speak-To-Chat is active and you want to force resuming to the music simply double tap on the touch sensor. I also noticed that pairing to other devices (wether you use multi point pairing or not) is only possible when it is activated. I wish they could realize that we can freely choose which functions are activated by single, double, triple or long pressing the custom button. That would be the best! Maybe they could add Speak-To-Chat to the WF-1000XM3?

Serious question. I just got my Sony xm4 When sitting next to a fan and using noise cancellation and calling i get wind noise which doesn't happen when noise cancellation is disabled and it's like I'm hearing my surroundings through my mic. When calling i get a lot of noise from outside like if i can hear the wind noise from the mic which doesn't happen when I'm not calling. I can hear my voice like a double voice when i activate inbuilt Alexa. Is this happening with you too? Should I replace my headphones as i have 6 days left to do it.

I have so much trouble connecting via bluetooth to my laptop or phone. I have to go through the whole paring process each time. it never works automatically like all my other bluetooth items like speakers etc. Am I doing something wrong.

I had to adjust settings in developer mode on my Android smartphone, because LDAC codec wasnt used automatically, but everytime I connect my headphones have to change LDAC audio playback settings to 660kbps..any option how to fix that to not do it over and over again?

You might know this one -- i've seen a couple of your videos about the xm4 ;) When i'm using hangouts or zoom, I can speak and listen like normal, but I can't change the volume of the call. Neither by using the touch panel nor on the computer for the full system. On the phone, no issues. Any idea?!

I have a samsung galaxy note 10 lite on Android 11 but can't activate the LDAC option, wasn't that supposed to be possible with an android device over android 8?
