Sony xm5 has nailed noise cancelling the way apple has nailed Face ID ..but momentum 4 is still better in the sound quality department

Good review, but it was completely cringey to listen to on how he ends his sentences. I mean the intonation. Why end all of your sentences in a question mark?

From what I heard in those binaural recordings, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 sound significantly better! So much more in the detail of the sound in the Momentum 4 compared to the SONY XM5! The SONY XM5 don’t even come remotely close! The Momentum 4 headphones are definitely for someone who really cares about sound quality!

I chose the Sennheiser Momentum 4 over the Sony XM5s because if you do a quick google search of "XM5 Broken Hinge," you'll see that they are made of notoriously cheap plastic that breaks within months. Also, their customer service will NOT reimburse or replace them for you, no matter what.

I have both, the sennheiser has better sound quality and more comfortable, the sony xm5 has the best noise cancelation.

It’s hard to find a genuine review with someone taking the time to show all if not most features. Thank you for that! My girl has the Sony’s. But I’m really liking them Sennheisers 🤙🏽 just subbed

M4 runs circles around the XM5 in terms of SQ. For me that’s the dealbreaker. Sound quality is what I need them for most of the time. I’ve just ordered the Momentum 4s. I’m thinking about the B&W PX7 S2 as a second pair mainly because of the extremely solid build quality.

I read about a certain problem regarding the sound imbalance between left and right on the Momentum 4. Can anyone tell me if this is true and if it has been corrected?

XM5 sounds terribly muddy with iPhone while you are not able to use LDAC and even worse on cable with DAC ifi Go Link. Anyone could share experience if used Momentum 4 with cable ? How they are ? or is better to look some typical studio headphones for listening via cable connection ?
