Hi , swa your video on xav 3250....Have one installed...my problem his when I connect the USB from phone the bluetooth automatically caonnects...Im told this is not healthy for stereo to have USB and bluetooth simultaneously...have turned EVERYTHING OFF regartding bluetooth and have talked to Tmobile extensively...the bluetooth still connects...does it hurt stereo? Can I turn it off? Thanks

i have this radio and my friends android phone auto connects just fine. i can connect my iphone via bluetooth and play any of my audio from my phone whether it’s pandora apple music etc and in my iphone general settings carplay recognizes the radio as my car and the Radio screen original CarPlay just fine Playboi GPS radio three I couldn’t get it to show my GPS like it did the first ever only connect my audio and play that so it’s connected but it’s not playing my GPS

If I change my stereo head unit for a touchscreen stereo it's a Honda civic type R GT FN2 will I lose the time on the cars display screen as you have to change the time with the buttons on the factory unit can I wire a touchscreen stereo to the wiring from dash to new stereo or will it be lost ? You must get this problem with a lot of cars as most clocks are controlled by the head unit to adjust time date and time readout can it be possible to get or keep the time on dash E P

I think you skip way too fast over the settings. How about visual? Can you change the home screen, can you change the white button illumination, so you can match it to the color of your car's interior lighting, just to name a few things you should cover.

Is it possible to use Apple CarPlay without cable? I dont want to plug in and out 1000 times the iPhone

Very mean of Sony not to provide a DAB antenna given most vehicles this would be fitted to do not have DAB as standard. Good work on the video though :)

anyone know how to completely turn off Bluetooth?

When I completed installation of this in a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, when I turn the car off, the screen remained on or at least it looked like the radio was still on. Is this normal or am I missing something? I have connected all the appropriate cables to the harness everything is connected correctly. The Jetta does have an accessory position. I do see the warning in the installation instructions that stated that do not install in the car without an accessory setting. This is OK in the Jetta. But like I said, the radio seems to still be on, even after shutting the car off.

A word of warning - the sound and features on this unit are great... But the screen is dogshit. Unless you're mounting this down low where it's shady, you're fucked. The screen is matt, so if the faintest bit of sunlight hits it, the screen completely washes out. Not the best when you're using it as a sat nav. The viewing angle is a bit shit too. And worst of all, no meaningful brightness setting to counteract any of this. Really disappointing because this is a great unit otherwise. I wouldn't recommend it unless you can find it sub £300.

Why no CD?!?! Just got a range rover evoque 2019 and the ONLY bad things the stereo. No CD Player and the only volume controls on the bloody steering wheel. I have a USB with loads of good music on but every time the cars started it takes ages for the USB to even show up and auto plays annoying radio.

Not impressed I built my Excelon system for less than the sticker on this .. for double dins I recommend an android unit with a launcher app to set your interface up. For 100$ you can outperform this
