I have this exact same one. I was listening to music on my way back home and the sound just went out but music kept playing and phone was still connected to Bluetooth but for some reason no sound is coming out do you think you can help me out with what it might be?

I'm glad I watched your video. I'm hooking one of these up now into an '09 Mustang, so it has the factory amp to wire also. I would have never known the need for the satellite antenna for carplay if I hadn't seen your vid. First I've heard of that.

It's not good in my 2013 Silverado HD. Even though I have 5% tint, the screen gets washed out from the windshield down

Sorry this may be an ignorant question... When you said that you need the GPS antenna plugged in for Apple Carplay to work, is that something that comes with the head unit?

Thanks for the first look. Is there any way to turn off the digital clock on the home screen? Looks kinda funny with two clocks. As if the target market for this likes the look of an analog clock but can't read one xD

I’m not sure what the resolution capabilities of the video input are :( … if i had to guess, 1080p should be fine

What do people think about this having a Resistive Touch? I know they did this on purpose to make this affordable, but I don't know, this is new to me, is this a little bad or super bad?

Once you change to this head unit your car original warning sounds will go away this unit has a chime box. And it sounds weird nothing like your car original sounds alarms

@@8888k your chime sounds Keys in car Turning signals Sensor warnings Emergency lights And all mechanical issues warnings Your factory original head unit has its original sound chime When you remove the origunal head unit those chime sounds are going away

Hi My media receiver is Sony XAV AX4000 55X4 rms Speaker are Audison, prima apk 6.5 70 rms and apk 165 100w Or Hertz, dieci dcx 165.3 60 rms dpk 165.3 80 rms Should I use amplifier ? if necessary which one is better? Pioneer, DEQ-S1000A Sony, XMS400D Vibe, powerbox 65.4

Amplifiers are always recommended if you would like to maximize performance of your equipment . Those are all solid name brand companies so I don’t think you can go wrong no matter what you end up going with .. I’m not a dealer for those brands so I struggle recommending one to go with .. but I would read reviews on www.crutchfield.com .

look for the orange wire and hook it up to the orange wire on your car harness

Is this better than xav 5500? Specially touch response and display. Because both have capactive anti glare touchscreen .
