Unfortunately it's just too big for me as I live in Japan and simply don't have the space where I can play such a large speaker. So I decided to buy the XG500 instead.

@@Sabundy hey japan rocks! :D greetings from germany. Used the speaker yesterday on an outdoor barbeque ! It was very capable to be louder than 15 drunk ass germans :D I will upgrade to a second one as they can easily pair . Then it will be almost a nice dj setup.

I currently own a Sony XP700 and I'd like to share my opinion, which might be helpful for potential buyers. Even though the speaker offers impressive sound quality and solid construction, I unfortunately experienced an issue with background noise that significantly diminished my overall satisfaction with the product. This was particularly true for the tweeters and when a microphone was connected. I contacted Sony's service center hoping for a quick repair or replacement, but the response I received was astonishing - I was informed that such noise was normal for this model. The service process turned out to be more complicated and time-consuming than expected, and my experience with the service wasn't as positive as I had hoped. For anyone considering the purchase of the XP700, I would advise thoroughly checking other users' reviews and making sure that potential technical issues and after-sales service won't be a problem for you. Despite these challenges, the speaker has its strengths, but it's important to be aware of possible inconveniences.

It has Aux in & Mic/Guitar inputs so you should be able to work that

I mostly use mine outside but haven't used it over the winter because it's been cold but now that it's warming back up I'll be using it again , I love it & don't have any regrets , it's on the heavy side though but not too heavy but wheels would have been nice

@@onQQuincy yea wheels seem like they would be nice forsure. I just bought a truck so my idea is to put this in the bed of it and drive out somewhere and jam out.. kind of afraid to blast it anywhere but f it lol. I’m glad to hear you love it, got the xb43 and wasn’t sure about the Sony sound at first but I think it’s pretty pleasant

The 310 doesn't even play in stereo when you lay it on its side. The party box 300 did, but they cheaped out and got rid of that bottom tweeter on the 310. If you play this Sony in a horizontal position you get proper stereo separation. There is more to good sound than having the slight edge on bass.

I had this box and was disappointed 80 watts are extremely little and it overdrives when it was made louder the bass is ridiculous I have sold it again now I have the Teufel Rockster it has an extreme bass and is so loud that you only get a little over half can rotate you do not buy such nonsense

It's 110w not 80w plus the xv800 coming which is better than the xp700, and how loud or how much bass it can out doesn't mean a speaker is going to be good
