Alas, this piece (which has appeared on a long list of previous recordings) is not by Torrejón y Velasco! He was born in 1644 and could not have composed this piece by the time it was copied into its manuscript before 1656. The piece (which is not so easy to understand in this cut version) is anonymous. What the marvelous Yoncheva sings here is only part of a much larger piece. I admire her effort, voice, and versatility. As an ardent fan, I prefer to hear her as Tosca.
