If it was on there's or there family's property they would have cleaned up the old bridge and had new installed within a month or two of hurricane Harvey! In this day n age, it's about time these decision makers were held accountable, if they do not make sure all areas and residents are looked after equally as they would if the issue was happening to them or a close loved one. N how convenient for them, that they "lost" umpteen papers to do with the flood risk, maybe they did, but surely in this day n age, they heard of, hardcopies, databases and back ups and if you can't find in the paperwork, then it will be on the database or a backup! But lost it, is a common excuse. Imo the usual thing is, they either not lost them, but saying have or they been gotten rid of, because the truth of the matter is they contained data that showed that area should never have been developed or that far larger flood measures would need to be put in place including the old bridge cleaned up, area cleaned, widened, dredged even, because it seems very odd that it's always the most telling results that go missing or are the ones damaged or they had a shoddy quality company do them on the cheap! Doesn't matter what the subject, vital data, data that could get a development banned , a med/treatment stopped being launched or launched with danger warnings due to say subsection of society at much higher risk of say autism or asthma or whatever. The reason why losing flood ponds or forest, woods, flood plains should not be built on/over are always the documents, data, research that is lost or erroneously ('on-purpose') omitted from the study paperwork, so the building, clearing of, treatment with/of can be halted and either relooked at and reformulated with new measures in place or stopped all together. But it's the old 🤑🤑 £$€¥👀put before residents health, homes, livelihoods and property. Maybe if we all say we will hold them fully accountable for any losses, damages or vet bills of/on esp Morrow lands and its $5000 per lost and whatever vet bills cost and replacement of any vehicle, machine with like for like and the costs of replacing and rebuilding to same standard n quality any lost of damaged building or fence n replacement of lost foods, hay etc.. So the Judge n that need to get finger out and put right ASAP what should have been done in 2017 as soon as Hurricane Harveys floods were gone or halted the development until broken Bridge pieces removed n replaced + any widening or dredging of the channels to help cope with the floods occurring because HE(judge) /THEY allowed the development to go ahead And continue and chosen to ignore the affected residents concerns. Best of luck X n hope no more rain for a few days at least, so this has time to drain away.
