For me it was fitting quite well... because the scouts had an agenda and are grown up know.. its a cruel world out there and they know that. the actions they have taken spoke for them more than any speeches ore more. i found it satisfiying to see eren is not a dumbass anymore and can see and combine little pieces. things have to be done at this point and everybody knows that. on the other side - yes there is pain, suffering and so one. but again its a Cruel world that was the point of Episode 6 and 7 in the first Season. the Anime dont need to repeat himself it builds on top of that.

I think it was midway through season 1 they mentioned that someone had told them how to pronounce it, but it didn't last for even the entire episode. lol Perhaps Le-Vee just sounds easier for them to say?? Like people who say the names as if they themselves were Japanese. Saying Ry-nuh in stead of Rein-er, lol. It's a pet peeve of mine, but it doesn't last longer than a few second, so I don't ALWAYS harp on it. One example of when I find it bothers me particularly is with people who say names wrong and don't CARE how the person themselves say their name. For example, I had a friend a few years ago who's name was of French descent. One day he told us that we were pronouncing his name incorrectly and said it with a French-ish pronunciation (he didn't even speak French but learned HOW to at least say his last name) but because his brother and his Father said it with an Americanized pronunciation everybody else ignored this friend and continued to say it "American style" I didn't though, I told everyone else that as the person WITH the name, he has every right to determine HOW he would like it to be pronounced. It IS HIS name after all. In my opinion, the least a person can do is TRY to be respectful enough to learn how to pronounce someone's name. As for this show the reason I let it go quickly is because in the end, these guys re just animation. They aren't real. lol. So while it bothers my ears when people pronounce names wrong, I just laugh it off.

But I highly doubt that the same people laughing at these girls for pronouncing Levi wrong, are correctly saying Magato or Faruko. And one could even argue that Levi isn't even correct since the Japanese don't pronounce the "L" the same way

The sister is not a plot-twist. The brother said in a previous episode "you can't even tell which one of us is the Warhammer titan". So it's not a plot-twist, it's a "revelation" about a "mystery" but still, it's not important at all.

Relax with these weird comments. Names can be pronounced in many ways, depending on language, accent. Le-vi or Lee-vay - it's irrelevant, you know what character they're talking about, there's not confusion.

I've left similar comments before. But they don't seem to care. When you clearly know the pronunciation of someone else's name but don't pronounce it correctly. It feels very disrespectful.
