Brother it's a remake but he didn't wrote it in the way like he does. He also remade Nadiye Ke Paar in 1994 as Hum Aapke Hain Koun but told old story in modern way like of city or urban people but without compromising family values , cultures and rituals just like every Rajshri film. But in Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon in order to tell old story in modern way he showed modern love with some terrible scenes and songs and also clothes. He mistakenly ruined it which he always apologize for that whenever anyone asks him about that film. In both the films which he remade from Rajshri classics he only tried to present old valuable stories to new audience in modern way without comprising culture and values, in one he nailed it and in one he miserably failed.
