My friend trained her cat to use the toilet. She started with a kit with a tiny opening and then progressed to make the opening bigger. When she goes away, I sometimes babysit her cat in my house. I have two toilets and the cat used both of them without any problems. I was amazed! The cat doesn’t flush the toilet though 😁

Thanks, Sophia, for the review. This is a great opportunity to try one. I ordered the one you got. I’m looking forward to Buddy’s reaction. He is about 7, a fast learner and a docile boy. I got him a catio a couple of months ago and he loves it. (He’s not allowed outside, we have coyotes.)

Both of my daughters have automatic litter boxes and love them. Not sure what brand they have. After watching your review and the great discount I decided to purchase on of the Meowant box. One of our cats does not get a long with our other cats and she spends most of her time in our bedroom so that is where her litter box is. I try to keep it clean, but the odor still can be a problem. I look forward to getting this new box. Thank you Sophia for the great review.

In the beginning I suggest, if your cat get spooked by the machine to extend the time at which it starts self cleaning after your cat leaves the box and then shorten it until your cat gets familiar with it. Remember it won't completely remove the smell. But it s a major improvement. Get a good litter too. Not the cheap kind. I see a difference with the tidy cat and will try others as well. Someone mentioned the tidy cat clean is even better. I hope you and you cat like it.

I just got this one two days ago and i love it so far. I did a lot of research beofre settling on this one. My cat had no issues with starting to use it. I saw someone say to put baking soda or cornstarch in the bottom before adding the litter and it helps with sticking issue. I also learned that you have to leave the litter enough time for it to clump before doing a clean cycle. I assume that the time needed would be different based on the type of litter used and probably even humidity. It was a big purchase for me ($413.99 Canadian on Prime days) but i should have bought one years ago. Yours was one of the nest reviews I've seen😊

I have 2 old cats. The both pee in the front and poop in the back of the box. I haven't looked at price yet but I would love this. It's back breaking where I clean it now. Just a bag? Wow.

Having cat plastic garbage bag like liners also help! The ones I buy are thick and do t shred like others do and when it time to change the liter completely you just winch it up and throw it away.

People have different priorities you know. I give you a for instance, I would never spend a dime on a cruise. But some folks would not hesitate to drop $10k on a 5 night to the Bahamas. It s about what you value. I woukd not spend the full amount on it but with the discount, I might because I really don't enjoy scooping litter and smelling it. I love my girls and also want them to have fresh litter at all times. That s where my value is. To me it brings convenience and it's healthier all around for us and for them.

The litter I use I only have to change once a month Honestly!!! NO STINK. The down side is as I have the regular litter boxes and they kick the litter out. Only clean litter out. Never any turds get kicked out. The cat poo gets hard & 40:04 dries out quickly. So no smell of poo or urine. The cost is more per bag than clay but in the long run it is cheaper as you don’t have to replace the litter for a month. Not sure if it would work in a litter box machine like you have. But your box is perfect if one goes away while cat are home.

I fostered 2 cats last year and got Purina Tidy Cats light weight 14 day ammonia block with Glade - Clear Springs. 99.9 dust free powerful odor control 8.5 pounds. In large jug with handle. It's lighter than the others at 20 pounds because of the little bitty foam like balls that absorb. It's instant. I had cats before, and used Tidy Cats, but this is a game changer! 😅

What happened with your last cat? I remember it being close to Scott. My cat has started tormenting my grandson and idk why she’s never mistreated or hurt or anything she’s treated like a princess but her personality has changed over night.
